Overrated property with poor amenities

Location was good and accessible.

As per the policy, an electric kettle, clean linen, and bedsheets should be provided, but none were available. When asked, the caretaker simply said they were not available. The property feels overrated—@booking.com should review the rooms and overall condition. The rooms are congested and poorly ventilated. There was a window, but it could barely be opened, and there was no exhaust fan in the washroom, which made it feel suffocating at times. I was allotted a ground-floor room, so I strongly recommend checking the room before check-in, especially GF rooms. There is no restaurant inside the hotel, so at the very least, tea/coffee along with an electric kettle should be provided.

We liked the convenient location, yet on a quiet side street. Management friendly and helpful. Sunny spacious rooms.

We wished they had kettles in the rooms so we could make our own tea, instead of sending down a thermos twice a day. One has to beware of pesky monkeys. Doors and windows must be closed at all times. Otherwise, they may come in to steal food like bananas.

It was just a house converted into the hotel. Cockroach found in toilet, tv never starts, staff was very unprofessional, no toilet roll, in the picture it was shown with tea maker but there were no tea/coffee powder, no water bottle.
