Comfy & conveniently located.
This home is in a prime location, within walking distance to pretty much whatever you need (including delicious tacos & a toy store) & just a short drive to a grocery store. The home was plenty large for our family, and we were grateful for the comfortable stay.
As mentioned in previous reviews, the only shower is downstairs, away from the sleeping areas… not a major inconvenience, just something to be aware of & plan for. At the time of our stay, the stove was not working, which we were not aware of upon arrival so our meal plans had to change after purchasing groceries. Hoping it is either remedied by the next person’s stay or advertised as not working, so folks can plan ahead.

Main bedroom is a stacked foam mattress very uncomfortable. Bugs in all the rooms. Second bathroom unusable, except for toilet.

Great location!
The upstairs bathroom had a strange setup with no mirror except a small makeup mirror and you hit your head on the slanted ceiling when using the sink. Also- some of the dishes in the kitchen cabinet were not clean.

Nice stay.
The location was great. Size of house was perfect for our family. Grandson loved the bunk bed!
We were here for a wedding. A full length mirror would have been great and/or an extra mirror for hair and make up would have been nice. Only one bathroom had a mirror. A hairdryer and hangers would have also been helpful.

Wonderful house & Hood River was a perfect town for our teenagers! Vacasa was lacking however.
What a great house! We loved the location to town. Could not have been better. Highly recommend you consider this as your vacation rental if it meets your needs. Our only complaint is with Vacasa, who manages the property. So that is why the 'Host' rating is low. While the Vacasa people did their best, response time was a little slow. Plus the biggest problem was the below in 'What we didn't like".
Vacasa has a really objectionable policy. Totally contrary to finishing off our exceptional vacation experience. My son lost his AirPods as we left. We contacted Vacasa within hours, but were told we'd be charged $25 for them to look for the AirPods. We'd be charged this if they found them or not. While not a large sum, we'd just paid them over $1500 for a 4-night stay. We were told it would take 'staff time' to look for them (lord, aren't they in the hospitality business & isn't this part of that??). We clarified by saying we were not asking for someone to 'go looking for them', but just to inquire if housekeeping had found them. But they wouldn't do it. Couldn't even get them to just ask a question to housekeeping. Very disappointing. Left a terrible feeling of their attitude and unwillingness to perform one of the most basic travel hospitality functions - lost/found. Really?
