Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, Azusa House is within walking distance of a spa and family-friendly eateries and breweries, yet conveniently within reach of outdoor recreation. Indulge in tapas at the Sixth Street Bistro & Loft, or plan a date night at Three Rivers Grill. Treat little ones to a cone at Mike's Ice Cream, then treat the adults to brews from Full Sail Brewing Company and Double Mountain Brewery - each within blocks from home.
Meal prep will be a breeze in the well-equipped kitchen with a spacious island and convenient appliances (including a dishwasher). Choose from a casual seat around the bistro table or grab a chair at the formal table. The fun continues outside on the covered, wraparound deck, complete with a bubbling hot tub.
The Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area offers fantastic views of the river basin and you can launch your stand-up paddleboard or kayak at Hood River Waterfront Park. The region is best known for windsurfing, but outdoor enthusiasts of all varieties visit the river banks for sailing, mountain biking, and hiking. By snowfall, Mt. Hood is a short drive away, offering Nordic trails, snowmobile country, and alpine skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort, just 35 miles away.

This house was clean, charming, and had all of the amenities we needed for a girls trip to Hood River. You can’t beat the proximity to all of the downtown shops and restaurants! We will be back for sure!!

House is great. Quirky, older, but totally what we expected. Couldn't figure out how to get all the jets working on the hot tub and had to buy batteries to get Roku to work. Street noise is noticeable but that shouldn't be a real surprise to anyone. We would stay again.All communication were AI, so not much of a personal feeling. Probably could have called to get real person for customer service if needed, but we just dealt with imperfections.

The home was very clean and comfortable as well as well stocked. The hot tub was welcome after a day of shopping and visiting vineyards. We love Hood River and this home is perfectly located for enjoying the restaurants and shops and heading out for hikes or water activities.

This house is a big house in a great location. Easy walking to downtown Hood River. However, there are some oddities. The upstairs bathroom, while spacious, does not have a functioning shower. All the rooms with the larger beds are connected. The room we slept in, you could only get to by going through another room. The only functioning shower was in a small bathroom (powder sized) downstairs through the kitchen by the back door. There just aren’t many private spaces in this house if you are planning on sharing it with another family. I really liked that it was right on Oak St., but the road noise is loud. And the keys that are in the lock box do not fit the front door which is on Oak St., so you can use the door, but you can’t lock up the house from there. So you have to use the back door and go down a flight of stairs and then walk back up the hill to get back onto Oak St. It just isn’t ideal. Overall, our stay was fine.
