This attractive home is a splendid choice for a family holiday. It’s at the heart of Moëlean sur Mer, just 500 metres from Place de l’Eglise de Moëlean but on a quiet street. The house is pretty and bright, with a lovely open-plan living and dining space. This is the heart of the home, where you’ll gather to cook and dine together, and relax in the evenings. You might shop at the weekly local market for fresh ingredients, and whip up Breton pancakes or pork rillettes. Outside, the enclosed garden is delightful in the afternoon. Soak up the sunshine on a sun lounger, or gather around the table for snacks and a chilled glass of wine. The south-facing terrace is perfect in the early evening, when the sun is starting to dip in the sky. It takes just fifteen minutes by car to reach some of Brittany’s nicest beaches – pack a picnic and make a day of it. You might also take a day-trip to Pont-Aven – the famous painters’ village is just twenty minutes away. Who knows, perhaps you’ll come away feeling inspired and paint the next great masterpiece on the terrace.
