Property was clean, good position

The check in process with MyHome in Como was absolutely ridiculous and unnecessarily complicated. Not only did I receive an exaggerated number of notifications per day with updates, but the number of steps required to simply stay 2 night in this apartment made the entire process very unpleasant. Moreover, the keys we had to pick up from the box were missing one main key so we had to drive all the way to their offices to ask for the right key. Overall a decent apartment, but the admin experience and unnecessary operational hassle does not make up for it. Do not recommend this to anyone.

Great spot but unfortunately check in process was the worsr we have had.

Nice and clean, good location and spacious area. Comfortable for a 2 night stay.

Unfortunately the check in process was extremely convoluted. Many issues including; having to collect the keys from another property, gate not functioning correctly, check in information given just minutes prior to check in, instructions given not clear. Overall took us 2 hours to check in. Again, upon check out we were asked to leave the keys in the apartment however we needed to keys to open the gate to leave. The check in/out process could be made more seamless and perhaps needs some reviewing.

The site is great. It is a five-story appartment complex in a park-like garden with big trees. Walking distance to the shoreline, the shops in the old town Cernobbio and a Lidl (which was open even on Easter monday). Parking option is on the premises at a driveway, although space can be a bit tight. The appartment is spaceous, has a high ceiling, and all needed amenities are there. A bit more furniture or decorations in the appartment would be good to dampen the echo. Access to the appartment (3rd floor) is possible via an elevator, although one has to walk up a flight of stairs to the entrance of the elevator. The young staff of the company was very helpful and friendly, andversed in English. It was quite cool during the days of our stay, so we appreciated the well-functioning heating system of the appartment.

The information on the waste disposal is outdated (when we wanted to dispose of the waste bags as described in the manual lying in the appartment, we were reprimanded by an old woman living in the house; there is no container for paper as stated in the manual). There was only one set of keys. It had to be picked up at the administration office in Como for security reasons (they gave up on the on-site key safe, as the staff apparently has to see all people living in the leased appartment in person, a copy of the passport is not enough). This is OK, but it would have been good to clearly state this in advance.

I liked the location - and the interior of the apartment.

The aircondition could not get below 25 degrees making it a bit hot in the summer. The owners reacted quickly in the beginning. But the technician never came - and I had to contact the owner to be told that the technician was too busy so could not solve the issue during our stay.

Disappointed and Frustrated

The apartment is large and spacious, a good place to actually rent if you lived in Cernobbio. Location within walking distance to the lake. The Blue modern decor. The bed was very comfortable.

When we got to the entrance, we had a difficult time finding how the keys worked to open the gate to the property. There were a lot of dead bees on the floors and more kept coming into the apartment. We could not find where they were coming from. The Nespresso needed a manual bc when I tried to make coffee, water just ran out of the bottom. (I have a Nespresso, so it shouldn't have been difficult.) Photos and description should have helped locate the apartment, but the name on the door was Bianco, NOT Blue Mood. We tried every apartment and finally decided that the name was never changed. (It was the same name on the mail slots too. It was around 6:45pm when we realized that we didn't know how to work the gate and we had dinner reservations. Noone was available to help us online. We got an email response that said it was too late to help us. We did not leave the property and we did not get dinner that night! Who ever we asked said that the only way to open the gate was with a key or remote. Out of frustration, we left the following morning, even though someone called us and explained the way one key opened the gate. We still didn't know how to return through the gate. We have traveled to Italy many times and never have we been disappointed until Cernobbio. We will never return. We have used Booking.com frequently as well.

- Schlüsselabholung allein kaum möglich (Schlüssel muss an vielbefahrener Straße abgeholt werden), unnötig viele Informationen müssen angegeben werden inkl Videocall zur Identifizierung (noch nie vorher erlebt) - Checkout: man soll den Schlüssel in der Wohnung lassen, benötigt ihn aber um die Tür zum Haus auszusperren -> man muss hoffen, dass keiner in der Zeit die Tür zu macht —> warum für beide Punkte keine Schlüsselbox am Gitter der Anlage? - neben dem Apartement ist ein Wasserfall, der eine ständige und je nach Wetterlage sehr laute Geräuschkulisse erzeugt - Couch könnte größer sein, insbesondere weil der Raum sowieso sehr groß ist
