3 Penllan Cottages

Beautiful well decorated cottage, rural location, wonderful view, perfect .

3rd bedroom very small with bunk beds, difficult for 2 girls as had no wardrobe- but no problem for us as main bedroom shared - wardrobe & dressing table. Main garden in photo not behind house , to the side so need to go with dog to garden. These were not a problem but things we didn’t know/realise.

The property had everything we needed and was furnished beautifully. The little front garden and orchard were lovely especially for our dogs. It was well situated for us to explore North Wales, Liverpool, Chester and Blackpool. We thought we were going to have a quiet relaxing break when we booked it but ended up out and having adventures every day.

Parking and joining the public road was a big problem. It is difficult to park unless you have a small car which can three point turn in a restricted space. Whilst the road is not an A road it is frequently busy and dangerous to join forwards let alone backwards. We had to have one person in the road to stop traffic. The mirror opposite does not show the vehicles on the road until they are almost on you. My friend who was travelling alone was extremely nervous about leaving the property without someone to guide/ tell when the road aas clear. Whilst superficially ‘clean’ the cottage could do with a thorough cleaning eg shower drain blocked with hair and gunge, kitchen drawers needed to be cleaned before use and radiators needed dusting.
