The Jbaynian

Although the original property we booked was one large house, the change to two adjacent houses suited us even better. The area was safe and the properties gave us plenty of space and comfort during our stay. Everything we needed was provided. The surrounding grounds even gave us an attractive backdrop for some creative wedding photos! Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful. The location was great too - close to a beautiful, unspoiled beach and within easy reach of the centre of Jeffreys Bay by car.

If, like us, you are visiting in Winter, the property does get very cold at night. This is not a fault of the hosts at all, just something to be aware of and properly prepared for! (Blankets etc. were provided)

I liked everything about the Jbaynian! The location is excellent. So close to the beach that you can hear the waves crashing on the beach at night. It had a farm feel and my daughter had a blast. It is quiet at night with no road noise. You can help yourself to the fruit and herb garden. I will definitely stay there again. Nice and cosy!

The only thing I did not like very much is the fact that we struggled with the WiFi. I will definitely recommend upgrading to a faster WiFi.

The accomodation was as per the photos viewed. The space was peaceful and relaxing. The outside day bed was perfect to take in the view and best part was the fresh herb garden.

There was not much too not like. The space was a perfect escape from reality for a weekend.
