Casa Teatro Greco

Fantastic apartment with really large rooms and french doors opening out on to a bustling street, full of the charm, local characters and an amazing view of Mt Etna which was erupting, from our balcony. The queen size bed was very comfortable and it was furnished in a traditional style, which made it feel authentic. The location is central to everything from the Greek theatre, to the cable car down to the beach, the public gardens and all the shops. I would definitely recommend this apartment!

The apartment door needs a name on it as we had trouble working out which apartment as the key was a bit tricky. We accidentally walked into a neighbour's apartment by mistake. The second bedroom was large and had a single bed in it which made it look a bit sparse and monastic: a double bed and a full length mirror would really improve this room. The bathroom is a bit tired but was fine; it just needed a fresh shower curtain as it was moldy and stained on the bottom. Also there was no tea towel or fresh dish cloth to wipe the surfaces. These are all minor things and are easily fixed. Overall, we loved this apartment. It was noisy in the early morning from the garbage truck and the shopkeepers opening up in the morning, but in this central location, this is to be expected and added to the charm of the place and created an authentic Taorminian experience
