What can you expect from a truly Sicilian apartment in Taormina? A large and atmospheric, fully furnished and clean apartment with a lovely large balcony overlooking the sea and beautiful skies. We felt right at home here for two days. Especially thanks to the warm welcome from Luca and Christof. Communication with Luca is pleasant and fast. Questions are answered immediately and arranged according to agreement. Super nice. The car is expertly driven into a private parking space and returned promptly at the agreed time. In short, Bidduzza House is highly recommended 💝

La ubicació és perfecte perquè està molt a prop dels carrers més concorreguts de Taormina però sense estar dins, evitant gent i soroll. Les vistes a l'estret de Messina son impressionants. Està a 5 minuts d'un supermercat assortit de tot. Està a 5 minuts de l'aparcament públic (de pagament, ~25€ al dia) de Taormina, pujant unes escales. L'apartament ofereix un servei d'aparcament per 30€ al dia, te'l venen a buscar i te'l deixen a l'hora que el necessitis. L'apartament està perfectament equipat, cuina i lavabo tenien de tot. La terrassa és molt agradable, sobretot amb el sol del matí.

En general ens ha agradat tot excepte petites coses de manteniment: alguns hules i estovalles necessiten ser renovats, el pati de la finca podria lluir molt més i el botó per obrir la porta del carrer, tot i que funciona, s'hauria de cambiar.

The property was spacious with its own terrace where you could enjoy the amazing view. Our host was very prompt with his responses and clear instructions on parking and how to get there. We chose the valet parking option as it’s very hilly and you can’t park in Taormina so it was a good service to be able to get the car brought to the front gate when we wanted it, and likewise dropped back there to be whisked away again for safe keeping. The property is not a far walk into the Centro Storico area and all the attractions there. The washing machine and drying rack was very appreciated especially when you’ve been travelling a while.

Even though we had a full kitchen it was lacking in a lot of basic equipment eg. cutting board, chopping knives, spatulas, tongs etc but if you’re not planing on cooking it won’t bother you. It has a kettle which is a bonus. The bed was very squeaky and the pillows a bit lumpy. The entrance to the apartment is not very nice but once you’re inside it’s worth it.
