Excellent location and beautiful property. Hosts left teas and coffees as well as a bottle of non alcoholic wine. Couple of board games in tv unit that kept us entertained in the evenings. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Pub less a 1 min walk away. Guest folder gave a good list of nearby places to visit and detailed explanations for any issues that may have arisen at the property.

Twin bed bedroom tv didn't have a plug, tv remote in living room had dead batteries but we were able to swap them out for another remote from one of the bedrooms. Kettle is broken so had to microwave water for hot drinks.

House was fabulous, very spacious. used for a work trip and lovely to return to after a busy day working. The conservatory was a lovely feature and great to relax in.

As mentioned in other reviews, the experience was let down by the general feeling that it was s bit neglected. on the surface, clean and tidy but on closer inspection all bedrooms could have done with a good clean as cobwebs were present on the ceilings, in between the wardrobes and walls, in the velum windows. Also on the outside furnishings and all around the downstairs exterior door. I’m not being picky here, just s few minutes attention here would give the house a completely refreshed look. I contacted the owner to advise of this as it appeared not to have been acknowledged by the cleaners, maybe they don’t read the visitors book. anyhow, the owner was very grateful and said these things would be addressed. it didn’t ruin our stay but it took the edge of an otherwise great stay
