The kitchen had everything you would ever need to cook a meal, pantry space for goods and a full size fridge. There was complimentary coffee pods and some snacks which was nice. The parking was ample on the street during my stay. The rest of the house was beautiful but during this trip I was not really there to enjoy any of the lounge areas. The area where the house was located was quaint and historic and I never felt unsafe as a single traveler. The room had ample space for stuff and a large closet and the 1/2 bath inside the room was nice to have for privacy. The. only knock I would have is that the thermostat is locked by passcode so when I arrived at the end of the day to go to bed the house was over 80 degrees and the room was so hot. I would prefer to be able to just adjust a thermostat but fortunately I did have a number for the owner and texted them and they turned on the AC within a couple of minutes. It just took a long while to cool down and trying to sleep was a little difficult that one night. Overall it was a really nice place to stay and convenient to ND and other areas of South Bend and the house itself was gorgeous with all of the historical woodwork, HUGE pocket door, and beautiful foyer entry doors but I am in that business and recognize those things. Charming staircase in the back from the bedrooms directly to the kitchen was also nice.

Very clean room and bathrooms. Host promptly responded to a small issue that came up before my visit and fixed it quickly. Only stayed one night for the Notre Dame game and left early the next morning so did not get a good chance to explore the area but it looked promising. Satisfied with my experience!
