Towac Racecourse, Duntryleague and Wentworth Golf Courses, Orange Aquatic Centre are all a 5 minute drive away.

For the kids, take a visit to nearby Elephant Park, equipped with a playground, fitness equipment, BBQs & picnic spaces. Cook Park is a further minute down the road.

We are also on the road to the hiking trails at Mount Canobolas. Take in the views from the summit of Mount Canobolas or enjoy a picnic and take a stroll around Lake Canobolas. Further out are the Borenore Caves outside of Orange.

Melrose is situtated at the start of "The Mountain Wine Trail". Starting at Phillip Shaw (4 minute drive), take in Colmar Estate, Word of Mouth Wines, Ross Hills Wines, Brangayne and finish at Borrodell Vineyard and enjoy a long lunch or dinner at Sisters Rock Restaurant, enjoyng views back down the valley to Orange. A truly memorable experience.
