"La finestra sull'Umbria" is a beautifully restored Umbrian country house with large heated pool. The house is surrounded by a well-kept fenced garden for private use only and offers all the peace and tranquillity you are looking for during your holidays. If you are looking for a place to really relax then you have found it. From the various terraces you can enjoy a wide view of the green hills . Because the house is very private, it is suitable both for guests who want a relaxing holiday to unwind, as well as the perfect base for excursions to explore the region of Umbria as well as Tuscany and Le Marche.
The house is located in Carpini (Montone) on the SP201 between Umbertide (15') and Pietralunga (15'). Here you can go for daily shopping and there are several nice restaurants. Thanks to its location 10 km from the SS3bis motorway, you can easily reach all kinds of nearby attractions from here.

GUEST HOUSE:

* Small bathroom with shower, sink and toilet
The basic price is for 4 guests in the main house. From 5 guests onwards, a surcharge per person will be charged. If you book for 6 or more guests (adults), the guest house will also be opened.
This flexible accommodation is cost-friendly and perfect for a group of friends, a family or two families travelling together.
This house is only rented to one group at a time, if you book the house it will be private for you.
Check-in day is Saturday in the main season.
Swimming pool: The swimming pool (4.5 m x 10 m) is open from May until the end of September. During your stay, someone will come twice a week for pool maintenance. Children are welcome, but please note that the pool is not fenced.
The house has an excellent WiFi connection (Starlink Satellite Internet).

We spent 2 weeks with 4 adults and 4 children at the place and we really enjoyed our stay!
The house is well furnished with all amenities in place - especially the kitchen is very thoroughly equipped (quite unlike several other places in Italy we stayed at).
The outside area offers sufficient shade during hot summer days. The village is quite remotely situated (15min to the next smaller town with supermarket via a twisting road) - perfect if you like a tranquil vacation with kids for example.
Two minor points: the pool cover was broken - so it had to remain open during evenings/nights - you have to watch your smaller kids quite carefully. Secondly, the internet coverage is quite spotty - enough for the occasional check of emails but definitely not sufficient for prolonged video conferences.
All in all a great place and would recommend it to any family seeking a relaxed, tranquil place!

Two couples of professionals looking for a quiet and comfortable stay in a scenic environment, we found exactly the rest we wanted. The house offers a beautiful view, surrounded with nature and secluded but accessible enough. It has every amenity one can look for, in particular several pleasant outside terraces, a very well-equipped kitchen, an outside grill and wifi everywhere. The many day trip options include Cita di Castello, Gubbio, Perugia and Assisi. Grocery shopping is convenient in Umbertide. We also enjoyed the silence and dark sky at night a lot -they’re just unbelievable! We will be back.
