It would have been good if Netflix wasn’t Locked on a family profile so we couldn’t log in to our own one. The plug for the toaster didn’t work.

There is little I could write which has not been written previously, the location is great, parking is fantastic, the access, the space, all brilliant.

The only gripe I would have, as someone who does not tend to use rentals with kitchen facilities, whilst I loved the cleaning pack, including the dishwasher tablets, bin bags, scourer and tea towels, it would be nice if the property would have come with some washing up liquid. As a couple, we found we needed to put in a half empty dishwasher as we had run out of utensils, being able to wash up would have been more sustainable. Maybe upgrade a couple of the mains outlet faceplates to those with USB B/C outlets too, we were struggling to find enough outlets to charge up three devices and a laptop. My only other point of note, something most people wouldn’t have noticed, the gas safety certificate expired a while ago. The updated certificate just needs to be added to the folder along with the previous versions.

Spacious, clean and tidy property in a very good location for the centre of Ambleside and wider Lake District.

It is always a shame when you visit self-catering accommodation and the very basics are never provided, nor is there any note from the host to advise you bring things like hand soap, salt and pepper and only a tiny amount of washing up liquid.

Spacious property with all basics available. Short walk to the town.

Not clean properly with attention to detail. Health and safety issues noticed with broken glass pieces on the floor.
