Superb cottage in a perfect location

Amazing and comfortable cottage in a superb location few minutes away from Windermere lake. Very good value for money.

Nothing to complain about except that a bathroom on the ground floor would have made our stay much more comfortable.

No welcome pack. We stay in cottages several times a year this is by far the worst.

Location was excellent

House was very tatty - rusty radiators and shower bin. windows filthy and paint flaking off. Back Door - paint flaking off outside - locks useless. Lounge light - didn't work.

lovely 4 night break.

brilliant location with a pub, restaurant and shops within 5 minutes walk. Rastellis Italian is always good. parking outside wasn't really an issue however it could be in busy periods. however there is a large fully accessible private garage to use at the rear which will comfortably house a car. which was great. House was lovely and warm, clean bedding and towels provided. can't fault this house for value for money. nice that 2 of the bedrooms had small ensuites with toliet, sink and shower plus a large bathroom with Bath and shower for the 3rd bedroom. the 2 single beds on the upper floor were perfect for my daughters and they were way to excited in having their own private shower 🤣

Fabulous

Fabulous house, perfect for a family of Clean and lovely decor. Beds comfy, plenty of towels provided and kitchen well equipped. Dishwasher tablets, hand soaps, fairy liquid and loo roll provided. Free on road parking no issue - short walk to the centre shops/restaurants. Can’t wait to return.

Amazing!

The house was lovely. Decorated in a homely way and great facilities. Beds were comfortable and there was a travel cot in the wardrobe for my little one and a few toys in a cupboard, making it great for families. Dog friendly with bowls in the cupboard for them.

The second bedroom door handle didn't have a latch and the screws were loose but it Didn't cause a problem for us.

Comfortable stay for group/family close to bowness centre / market street.

Property was at a good location, close to bus stop and windermere lake and restaurants. Ample bed linens & towels were provided Enough cutlery and utensils were provided to do our own cooking

Basic groceries could have been provided: milk, cereals, sugar etc. Basic toiletries like soap, shampoo, laundry detergent etc. could have been provided

Gorgeous place, good location - a slight walk from the main town, however manageable. Kitchen was very well equipped. Beds very comfy. back yard worked out great for us.
