נאות מדבר

The location is great, walking distance from university and with lots of buses nearby. The room is small and basic (big, comfortable bed, desk and chair) but the houses across the way are much lower, so you look out at open sky which gives a spacious and private feeling despite the small size. Everything works - AC, Wi Fi, ceiling fan, TV, shutters. Place is clean. Room has its own key. Supermarket nearby (if you want real milk with your tea/coffee, you'd better buy some, he only has substitutes.) Host is nice and accessible, and kept texting to ensure everything was ok.

I had not realized from the website that the bathroom and facilities are shared. This is a room in the host's apartment, He was kind enough to inform me he wouldn't be home that night, but in general this wouldn't suit me. The bathroom is tiny and the shower is a small corner with a curtain, so that even a very brief shower floods the floor, you mop it up but the damp smell remains. No closet space or storage space in room or bathroom. It's two flights up, no lift, but not a lot of stairs, not really a problem unless you're lame.

ליאור המארח היה נחמד מאוד וגרם לי להרגיש בנוח. אדם טוב, דאג ושאל אם יש משהו שאני צריכה. היה לי מפתח לדירה ולשער הבניין. יש מפתח לחדר ולחדר האמבטיה. המיטה נוחה והיה שקט. די נקי אבל יש מקום לשיפור באופן כללי. יש מקלט ציבורי לשם הלכנו כשהיו אזעקות.

המיקום בשכונה ותיקה, הבניין ישן קומה שנייה ללא מעלית. הזמנתי חדר בדירה ולא שמתי לב לזה בהזמנה ולא ניתן היה לבטל. ליאור הציע שאקח את הדירה כולה אבל ויתרתי בסופו של דבר.

הכל היה מדהים. המארח היה מקסים, הכל היב נקי ומסודר והכי חשוב שקט. הגעתי למטרות עבודה ורציתי מקום למקלחת ושקט ושיהיה נקי ומיקום נוח. הכל היה מעולה.

We, 2 girls, were not aware that the property would be the host's private own 3-room-flat in a common rental/living compound of the local residents where we should use 1 of the rooms to sleep, the others were his sleeping room and the living room. Everything very tiny and close together. No place for distance or privacy. As we were brother and sisters. Due to moral reasons, this was no option to stay. So we left without staying there.
