Upon arrival from a late flight at 12:30am I went through all the information that I was provided with by the host and found that they had left the spot where they should have provided me with the door code “Blank.” So at 1am I had to call them and at 1:30am I finally received an email with the door code and was able to get in after standing in the hallway for an hour which after a long day of International flights and delays. It wasn’t a very welcoming start to my stay. The host that I talked to when I called offered me a $60 credit back for my inconveniences and it’s been over two weeks and I haven’t received anything yet so although the condo and the property were both excellent, the hosting of the property was poor and inefficient which made for a poor overall experience. I think a lot of their hosting is done by AI and call centers which in my experience are lacking in customer service and attention to details that are needed to be a great host who cares about their guests overall experience!

As the owner of four vacation rental properties who does all the cleaning, maintenance and hosting myself I fixed a couple things around the condo like a loose toilet seat and blinds that kept coming off the walls bracket. I would touch up the paint on the walls and replace the pillow on the sofa that looks like someone’s dog chewed a corner piece of it off. Also while I was there the breaker tripped off for no reason. I was able to find the breaker box and reset it with no further issues and in the bathtub there’s a cover where the water spout would usually go ( it’s up higher on the tiled wall ) this cover is off center and if you fill the tub with a normal amount of water it will leak through this off centered cover and that will leak onto the ceiling of the condo a floor below it creating a water stain or possibly even a collapse in the ceiling of the unit below. This should be addressed immediately. I wanted to fix it myself but I didn’t have a screw driver and it might need a little silicone caulking to ensure no water leaks through the cover after it is correctly installed.

Apartment amenities and comfort

Would not allow cancellation or rescheduling, even for unexpected physical injury. Very limited free parking. Both free and paid parking lots required quite a bit of walking on my injured foot to get into the apartment. The apartment was only clean on the surface. I found thick layer of dust on top of TV, dust and hair inside bathroom drawers.

Prime location and the loved the pool/hot tub that was open 24/7!!!!

The one and only tv in the 2 bedroom unit was maybe a 32in. I definitely would have expected at least a 50in especially for a unit that size! And no tvs in bedrooms? And this complaint the host has no control over but on the 2nd night the people Upstairs sounded like they were doing cannonballs until Almost 3am!!!! Finally I banged on the ceiling with the broom and they stopped!!! But it was very loud and frustrating!!!!

It was clean and beautiful. The layout was great! Loved the covered porch.

The A/C didn’t cool below 74 degrees despite being set to 68. The toilet seat was broken in the guest bathroom. There was hardly any kitchen supplies.
