Niki Studio Dio

Cela fait trois fois que nous descendons chez Niki et l'accueil est toujours aussi chaleureux. Disponible, prête à tout pour rendre service, la propriétaire est vraiment très sympathique.

Je pense que le logement gagnerait à être équipé de rideaux occultants et d'un vrai lit d'appoint. En effet, descendre deux jours sur un clic clac Ikea ne pose pas de problème majeur mais une dizaine de jours finissent par se ressentir. Peut-être un sur-matelas? Une amie a le même canapé et elle a adopté cette solution qui change tout ...

The apartment was very nice. High ceilings, two small balconies with the view to the city, large terrace, comfortable bed and everything you need for the vacation in general. The location is perfect: The bust station is right in front of the building, all the restaurants and shops are close but far enough to avoid noise, beach is near as well. The AC is the old but works well. I really enjoyed small oven and the kitchen towel. Everything was well though including drying rack, iron, hair dryer, and repellent. Niki the owner is a very pleasant woman.

I wouldn't say we found any major downsides. It would be nice to have a bit of oil for cooking and spatula. Wifi was down for a couple of days (but it didn't bother us so we didn't ask to fix it). Also, it's not an issue but something to be aware of, the hot water comes form the tank on the roof heated by the sun meaning it might be a bit colder in the morning and have some rusty smell.

The Studio was big and bright with high ceilings and lovely blue accessories. I was very comfortable. It was also quiet at night after 11pm. Right next to the bus stop in Lakka and above a lovely bakery. Just 2 minutes from the delightful harbour with lots of superb restaurants and bars plus lovely shops. The harbour beaches are lovely and clean or you can go round the headland to a little beach by water taxi for Euro 10 rtn. The early bus to Gaios also goes to the Ferry Port which is a considerable walk from the town centre and there aren’t many taxis about
