Don't miss out on the chance to sample local Spanish tapas dishes, one of our favourites being Ensaladilla Rusa (a kind of Russian-inspired fish and potato salad). Should you fancy venturing further afield, you can always head down towards the coast and the popular resorts that line it, including Torremolinos and Mijas, just 30 minutes away by car for a day of sun, sand, sea (and maybe some Sangria). Or, for something a little more active, why not explore the gorgeous mountain scenery that surrounds this traditional Spanish village on foot or by bike? Golf enthusiasts need not travel too far to tee off, as the nearest course is just six kilometres away.
