A very good central location and the living space was comfortable.
It would have been useful to have instructions on how to control the central heating.

When we arrived at No 24 it took a while to realise we had to go through the archway to the rear of the property,.
Also the email gave details of street parking but NOT the 6pm to 8am free parking overnight which would have been helpful. Saw details in the book the the table in the lounge.
Really loveded out stay!!!

Lovely little property all the stuff in previous reviews has been addressed, there's dishwasher tablets now, ironing board, windows open, bed has been levelled with wood! etc etc.
So if you drink... Staying upright will be impossible and you will bang your head a gazillion times! In fact even if you don't drink... We found it hilarious that nothing is level, every wall slopes, the floor slopes, the doors slope the furniture is all on jaunty angles! We loved it. Well equipped, and lovely and clean, and very spacious
Town is nice good mix of independents and chains. Lots of estate agents!! Good few restaurants we like the Italian la vita, and a few traditional pubs. The kitchen, below the flat did a lovely bacon sandwich!. We stayed to specifically visit monkey world 15mins away, which is also good fun though definitely a half day attraction.
Bit hidden away, located above a little cafe (a nice one!) and no parking (though carpark behind 20secs away but 3hr max stay, free 6pm-8am so if you arrive at say 4 you can stay till 9 the following day. Probably not good for those that struggle with stairs they are steep, and the access alley has lots of lumps bumps steps and potholes. Bar access nothing bad to say!

Great location and very comfortable. Had everything we needed.

Quaint Georgian architecture and comfortable furnishings. Spacious modern bathroom was particularly nice. Arrived during a mini heatwave so the portable aircon unit was great to use in the kitchen-diner area.
Unable to open windows in living room.

I absolutely loved my stay here — it felt like a home away from home. The space is beautifully set up and so cosy. They really pay attention to all the little details which made a big difference, like having a games cupboard with a poker set and board games which was such a nice touch.
The place was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed including fresh towels, toiletries and even some essentials in the kitchen. The beds were super comfortable and the whole place felt really relaxing and peaceful.
The host was also lovely, very friendly and provided clear information before we arrived so everything was easy and stress-free.
The location was great too with shops and cafes nearby but still nice and quiet in the evenings.
I would 100% stay here again — it’s definitely worth the money for how nice the place is and how well it’s looked after.
Absolutely nothing !!

Very central.
Quirky old building with sloping floors and exposed beams.
Two double rooms and a single room. Good kitchen.

Nothing. All great for us :-)

it was easy to access
starting with the fact the place is completely uneven feels like your on a boat walking up the stairs.
beds uncomfortable but clean. it was so hot in the property it was unbearable we had to have the windows open the blinds are terrible letting the light in if there is a blind in the room that is.
people screaming and shouting out side at 2am. then the church bells in the morning!
i never complain but we didnt sleep at all.

Central location. Clean and well equipped
Had to pay for car parking.
No curtains....unable to block out light early in morning.
No point in coffee machine if pods not supplied.
Smallest tea towel I have ever seen!

The location was perfect for us. Plenty of space downstairs in the living area.
As we open the front door a smell instantly hit us. The carpet was very badly stained. Not a welcoming entrance.

Convenient location, with easy parking and access. Good communication from owner.
The beds were so soft, they were incredibly uncomfortable- you could feel the wooden base underneath the mattress. None of us slept much. The sofa was also uncomfortable. I came away with a very achey back from both sofa and bed.
The carpet was also grubby. And the low ceiling height upstairs was a big issue for my brother who is tall. There are 'mind your head' signs, but maybe mention this in the description? Great location on the high street, but it also means it's noisy, so bring ear plugs.

Nice and easy and central to Blandford. Would use again without hesitation. Comfy beds and equipment was all there and working. TV and Sky for the kids. Shower was good and water was hot.
The temperature was super hot and couldn’t adjust with thermostat, needs bedside lamps in all rooms not just in master. Would be good to have dishwasher tablet as a starter even if don’t supply lots.

Really spacious living area and well equipped. Fantastic spot in the Main Street but still very quiet. Had everything needed to self cater and plenty of room for a family of 5. Good communication and all points in older reviews have been addressed.

Convenient location in the heart of the town. Easy access. Living areas more spacious than anticipated. A couple of bedrooms are very small and a little basic.

THE LOCATION WAS REALLY GOOD FOR OUR ACTIVITIES, IT WAS CLEAN AND HAD EVERYTHING IN THAT WAS NEEDED FOR A SHORT STAY, PLENTY OF SPACE FOR CLOTHES A NICE BIG FRIDGE AND FULL KITCHEN SUITABLE FOR SEVERAL PEOPLE STAYING TOGETHER
MANY OF THE FLOORS WERE UNEVEN ONE OF THE BEDS SLOPED SO THE MATTRESS IN ONE ROOM HAD TO BE SUPPORTED WITH PILLOWS FOR A LEVEL SLEEP. IT WAS VERY WARM MAINLY DUE TO THE WEATHER AND ONE OF THE BEDROOM WINDOWS WAS NAILED SHUT, WE UNDERSTAND THAT IT WAS DONE FOR SAFETY REASONS.

Excellent location and did the job nicely for our 3 day holiday.
You need to take a travel plug for the sink in the bathroom (to save (hot) water), you can't make the shower cooler ((it is hot or hotter) so not suitable for children), one of the double beds is on such a gradient that it is only suitable for one person as the other would roll out, one of the two bedside lamps is missing a lightbulb, one of the bedroom doors doesn't close so I would recommend taking a door stop so you can jam or hold it closed, you need to take a screwdriver to open the double glazing in one of the double bedrooms so you can open the window to let some air in which you need to do as it gets very hot, and there are only two glasses (which we used in the bathroom) as the other glasses are wine glasses, so you might want to take your own.

Not alot really.
Poor location above a shop, place stank of food/cooking oil. Noisy road situated on a busy High Street. We travelled as a family with 2 small children, not ideal with all the stairs. I did then wonder how anyone would get out in the event of a fire! Cleaning not to an acceptable standard.
