No AC during heatwave

Very clean, perfect location

Great location for easy walking into the Centre, Castle and Old Town. Very clean and had everything we needed for a family of four. We didnt actually do any cooking but it had everything required if we did decide to do this. Easy access to a small supermarket over the road that was open till 10pm most evenings and larger Tesco about 10 minutes walk away. The Italian pizzeria across the road was a great find! There's also a bakery below which looked busy / good, although we didn't end up buying anything during our stay.

Would have been good to have some lamps next to the beds for evening reading and soft lighting in the main living space, as the main lighting was a bit stark later in the evening. The trams continue till quite late / past midnight which some people may find noisy depending on what time they tend to go to sleep. Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise!

The room is clean and sufficiently big, with most of what you need. The area itself is good, with lots of shops nearby, and the old town is only about 20 minutes away on foot by crossing the bridge. The tram also takes you into town quickly, which makes getting around very convenient.

The area is extremely loud, and the windows do a poor job of insulating sound. The bedroom is only 6 meters away from a very busy tram line, with a loud tram passing every 20–40 seconds, making rest almost impossible. There is no vibration from the tram, so it seems to be purely a window insulation issue. I tried sleeping on the couch in the adjoining room, which is farther from the tram line, but there I was disturbed by an incessant noise from the elevator. It appears to have an imperfect electrical contact and wheezes continuously, even when not in use.
