Bishop's House

We had a great stay at Bishop House in Prague. The staff were friendly, and welcoming. The location is fantastic, in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance of the main sights, restaurants, and cafés. The hotel itself is comfortable, clean, and full of character. We'd gladly stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Prague.

The hotel is located near Charles Bridge, a great location in Mala Stran. The Franz Kafka Museum and the Lennon Wall are nearby. The hotel is historic but beautifully renovated. The street-facing section is more modern with an elevator. We stayed in the authentic tower. The original door to the room had an antique metal doorknob. The room was large with a high ceiling and a comfortable bed. Part of the room had a modern bathroom built into it, but the biggest surprise was a small chapel with an antique kneeler. The entrance to it was next to the bed. The chapel had preserved old with original walls. Their structure was accentuated by the lighting. It was definitely the most original room I've ever stayed in. Furthermore, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is an excellent hotel in a superb location. The hotel is located in the Malastrana, a few paces away from Charles Bridge in a quiet square. The location could not be better, giving easy access to all the main tourist sites as well as to the tram and metro system. You go out the door and you are in historic Prague! There are lots of good restaurants locally but finding a restaurant in Prague is not a problem! The hotel is very comfortable with character, reflecting its long history. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and windows that open. There is an air conditioner but we did not have need of it. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of room in the bedroom. Wifi works well, though the signal is not the strongest. The bathroom had plenty of room with a great walk-in shower, though a grab rail in the shower would be a useful addition. Breakfast is very good with a wide range that will suit most people. A nice touch is that there is access (free) to coffee and tea during the day. The staff are great, friendly and happy to help. This is a hotel in which we have stayed previously and to which we would happily return.
