Staffs are amazing from reception to coffee house to housekeeping. However, the rooms are small and quite old. Washroom has decent size but the water leaks out from the shower glass door and the water is pooling in the shower. Probably drainage problem. There is no international plug points. Have to get adapters for it.

With AI, you think you can be perfectly prepared for any itinerary. We gave ourselves 1.5 hours to move from the hotel to the Hanoi railway station which is only 15 mins away. What went horribly wrong was the huge traffic jam outside the hotel due to the Hanoi Independence Day celebrations. Tens of thousands of motorcycles filling the road. With 3 large luggages and a child, we were stuck in the hotel and unable to call a Grab after 30mins. Our train to Sapa was seemingly out of reach with our holiday plans down the drain. But in God we trust and he sent Nancy and David from front desk to help. They helped to call and find a Grab driver even thought we could not call one into the hectic jam forming around our hotel . They patiently found a Grab driver from heaven who was willing to crawl through the jam to reach the outskirts of Old Quarter. David helped to carry our heavy luggage to find the pick up spot and we must have walked 1 plus kilometres out into Old Quarter. Most hotel staff would only try their best and leave this messy problem (which is not theirs to begin with) to the guests. But Nancy and David really showed love, compassion and ownership. It is a a sign of God as the Grab Driver who eventually found us after 30 mins crawling in the jam had a Mother Mary icon in his car. We eventually made it to the railway station just in time but this was an experience that we will never forget

Walking distance to center. Also, they treated us very well even gave us a free private airport shuttle. Will definitely back.

You pay for what you get. The Accommodation itself was okay and staff were as helpful as they could be. However there were a few things that weren’t great. Breakfast was very average and on the morning we went down, they had no water. We had other issues including, our front door handle was broken, the fridge was not working and the shower was not clean. The staff came to fix the door handle but it didn’t fix the problem. We weren’t bothered as we could still enter but had to slam the door to close and lock it. We got some laundry done as we were 1/2 way through our trip. Although it was a quick turn around, a few items came back wet. Overall 2.5/5. Great location but average stay.
