Very clean and comfortable unit. Spacious and well equiped. Great location. Very walkable to Old Port section of town although it is up a hill..
Unit door code lock did not work well. It had a 10 digit code which had to be entered several times before it opened. Ended up using lock box to get a key to open the door. Head room was tight going up stairs and in bathroom. No dishwasher. Bedroom, although down some stairs had no door and was open to the rest of the unit.

Nice size and great location.
Stairs were a killer to get suitcases up.
Would suggest providing more towels for a 4 night stay.
Provide a second luggage rack. Both occupants have luggage. I had to put mine on the floor.

The property was in a great location and clean. The lock to the apartment had a few glitch but we used the key in the lockbox.
Also as other reviews mentioned there are a few stairs to get to the apartment and from bedroom to access the bathroom and the bathroom is on the small size which we didn’t mind though some people might have problem with them.
1. The wood around the fireplace is damaged and a 2 inch nail was sticking out.
2. A few of the mats on the stairs landing were loose and you can easily trip
3. The outside stairs to access the apartment one of the wood panels outside is warped and you can easily trip.

The stay was clean, with good living space and kitchen area. There was everything you'd need to stay in a place for a few days, and the location is pretty good since it's walking distance to a lot of popular spots in Portland
There was no way of getting in touch with the host directly, which is the first time I've seen this. You have to get in touch with Vacasa, who then try to accomodate your request. Just seemed weird. Also, the ceiling in the bathroom on the top floor is pretty low. Difficult to move around without your head bumping into it
