- Magnifique appartement climatisé 92m2, spacieux et cosy, au cœur de Vichy

Central location. Close to eateries, train station and supermarkets. Easy to access the river walk, the opera and the university. Comfortable and quiet. Good option for long stays. Easy to clean and maintain during our stay of one month. Heating was great, and the soundproofing was excellent (we come from a farm, so we are not accustomed to any urban noise). Secure entry to the complex. Both bedrooms can be locked for privacy. The large windows bring in a lot of natural light during the day. Kitchen has crockery, cutlery and decent cooking facilities. Information on bin days and additional bin locations in Vichy was very useful. The concierge was excellent in assisting us, especially since I had a Data-only SIM card during my travels. There was clear communication from the concierge through-out our stay, so we understood what our obligations were for tidying-up the apartment. She also gave us recommendations for where to eat and have an afternoon coffee/tea which was really helpful (Merci beaucoup, Mme Richard!).

Lighting in one of the bathrooms (closest to the kitchen), needs improvement as the light bulbs were not giving off a strong light. Many of them stopped working in the last week of our stay in this bathroom, so maybe these particular lights had been failing beforehand, hence the weak lighting? Lighting in the kitchen needs to have a brighter option, not just over the stove. The ambient lighting is good, but when one is trying to prepare food on the kitchen island in the evenings, a brighter lighting option would be safer. Not a criticism, but I think a pamphlet on how to determine which products can be recycled would be very useful. Even though I had studied some French before this trip, it was not easy for me to find the information online. I don't know whether this is possible due to the design and the age of the building, but it might be a good idea to install exhaust fans in the bathrooms/toilet area.

Dès le début, accueil très sympathique par le papa de Baptiste. Le logement était magnifique, très grand, avec des prestations proposées très appréciables (domotique dans l'appartement, ascenseurs pour les PMR, isolation phonique au top...). Pour couronner le tout, il est déalement situé. Nous avons passé un sejour formidable en famille. Merci !
