Boutique Chalet in Calheta

Our honeymoon stay at Zhanna's place was just perfect! We were greeted by Zhanna personally (even though we arrived late at night), and she made us feel totally at home, giving us a tour of the house and letting us know she could help with anything we needed (and she had already reached out to us prior to our stay). Zhanna provided a huge number of recommendations for things to do in Madeira, many of which we tried and loved. We enjoyed relaxing at her comfortable and tastefully decorated chalet (with lovely paintings on the walls, many created by our host). The chalet has beautiful views and a much-appreciated plunge pool to cool off in after exploring Madeira each day (walking, visiting towns and viewpoints, and eating fantastic food). The house was well-equipped for cooking, with a number of lovely places to sit and each, both in- and outside. The bedroom was very comfortable, and the entire chalet was spotlessly clean. Thank you so much Zhanna for giving us a wonderful first time in Madeira.

Die Straße ist sehr steil und unser Mietwagen war dafür an der Leistungsgrenze. Da das Wetter nicht so toll war, war das Chalet von der Temperatur her eher kühl, den Kaminofen konnte man leider nicht nutzen.

We've enjoyed our stay very much, the sunsets were fantastic and our hosts were so helpful with their tips! It can be a bit difficult to arrange logistics on Madeira to really experience the best of the island, so we really appreciated some local tips ❤️ The house itself is lovely, with good kitchen facilities and even the table was all set up for dinner when we arrived!
