Tenuta Ponziani Wine Resort

The staff was wonderful. The grounds and pool were excellent. The meals were very good. Plenty of free parking. The location was quiet and off the beaten path, but you do have to drive quite a bit to get to most things.

The one thing I was uncomfortable with is two different mistakes on my final bill, each about 65e... when I pointed them out, both were corrected.

Bellissima struttura immersa nel verde con grande piscina. Pace e tranquillità per una vacanza in totale relax. Comodo parcheggio privato e stanze confortevoli. Ottima e abbondante colazione e pietanze di notevole livello. Staff eccellente , in particolare Danila e Monica che ci hanno coccolato e viziato.

Suggeriamo di rinnovare i tendoni che purtroppo con il tempo si sono leggermente logorati :-)

Dinner at the hotel was amazing.

The spa was closed and not published beforehand. Even the name when booking said SPA hotel. Found that out when arrived, no glasses in the room, only 1 plastic cup in the bathroom. Mini fridge was in the worst location inside the wardrobe. Shower knows and settings made us laugh as it did not work, It is in general a lovely hotel. But feels like it's been run in a bad way for sometime and the owner has been purchasing things that look cool, but he purchased everything from TEMU. The menu was printed out and presented inside a standard office folder with all pages individually loose, I was not sure if I was purchasing a house or signing my divorce papers :) It does not need much to be a really good grand hotel. But there are just to many small things that take it down. Don't try to much being cool with some design that does not function.
