My friends and I loved Barba Negra. Simone and Vladimir were amazing hosts and great people to talk to. The house is beautifully located and perfect if you want a real experience in the Sierpe area, rather than something fancier and more superficial.

Le lieu est incroyable en journée et la maison est bien équipée! Mais la nuit avec la lumière beaucoup d’insectes pour manger à table vers les fenêtres ouvertes. Beaucoup de fourmis dans la maison. Au calme avec des toucans sur le chemin.
Pas de pression aux robinets et douche. Trop de fourmis… peut être il manque un ventilo en cuisine.

Maison rustique merveilleusement située pour admirer la nature et les oiseaux par les fenêtres du salon. Notre hôtesse Simonne très sympathique est guide et nous a amenée en excursion dans les mangroves. Super à conseiller. Simonne fait aussi la cuisine délicieuse si vous lui commandez à l’avance. Pour arriver chez elle il y a un petit ferry très artisanal mais qui fonctionne bien. Puis 5 km de bonne piste qui ne nécessite pas un 4x4.
Le soir quand on allume les lumières il y avait un peu d’insectes genre petits papillons de nuit qui rentrent dans la maison. Nous y étions en saison sèche et il n’y avait pas de moustique

The place was amazing, we loved being immersed in nature. The host was absolutely fantastic (provided lots of additional information ahead of time and was very friendly and helpful on site) plus her food was super delicious. We booked a tour with Simone and had the best time (saw lots of animals, great explanations, lovely picnic and tons of fun)!
The location is a little bit off the major track but absolutely worth stopping by!
