The location is exceptional. Beautiful beach near Corcovado, surrounded by nature. The Coastal track going south and north, walk of 25 Minutes over beach and through jungle to Playa San Josecito, where water is more calm to swim. (Very high waves at the hotel beach.)
Lots of animal visits in the hotel area (monkeys, aras, tapir,...).
Quiet, peaceful place.
Everybody of the stuff was very friendly!!
There is free drinking water, tea and coffee the whole day.
There was some trouble at the arrival. The booked superior room was not available. It was some discussion, but Samuel was quite helpful and could organise a alternative for us, so our stay was really nice.
It was also not easy to get in contact some weeks before, no answers via the booking.com Website. Therefore we were too late for the tour Sirena station.
It was not too bad as we have seen lots of animals at the hotel area and hiking the coastal track a bit.
We got the feeling that persons booking via booking.com are at the end of the row.
The prices for the meals are high for what you get. But that we knew from other reviews.
Arrival and departure have been an adventure with the really big waves, but everything went well.
The beach is beautiful. As everywhere there is lots of plastic getting there. Tourists try to clean it, but the collected bottles are not brought away (for recycling or a clean beach) and we did not have the feeling that local people there bother, which is a shame because it is their capital.

Zeer mooie ligging aan het strand. Veel wild life. Geen massa toerisme.
De locatie is enigszins lastig bereikbaar maar meer dan de moeite waard.

Very nice room, the photos don't do justice! The location is amazing; very remote and magical on one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. This was the highlight of our trip! Food is great and the staff is really nice, friendly and helpful. You could really tell that this place is managed by a family.
Drinks were quite expensive.
