About this apartment rental
Our studio condo is the perfect home base for your trip to Playa- the trip of a lifetime awaits! Enjoy Caribbean Sea views on the rooftop, where you can lounge, tan, and relax in or by the pool. The kitchen is stocked with appliances and there is a full bathroom. The condo is conveniently located on the ground floor. We have space for up to 2 guests in the common space open bedroom area which is located just past the living (please note there are three steps from the kitchen area to the living area), making our condo the perfect spot for a romantic couples retreat, business travel, or solo adventure!
The building itself offers a sparkling rooftop pool with grill area, gym, shower, bathrooms and massage room. Grill and washer/dryer are shared and available on a first come, first served basis. Plenty of amenities to provide an amazing stay!
Syrena is located 5 blocks away/8 minutes from 5th avenue and the beach, 2 minutes away from the main Supermarket and 10 min away from the bus station. We’re also conveniently located just one block from the supermarket if you need to stock up on groceries. A great option for digital nomads, remote workers, long stays, and slow travelers who want to enjoy Playa del Carmen from a more local and relaxed perspective.
Please be aware that seaweed is a natural phenomenon that hits Quintana Roo beaches. There is no specific season for it. We have no control of it, being a natural phenomenon we cannot process any refund related to it.

- We have a no-tolerance rule about parties and loud noise, so please be aware that complaints from neighbors, notifications from authorities, notifications from our noise monitoring software, or any other proof of disruptive behavior or loud noise between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM will result in fines of up to $1000.00, possible eviction and/or possible legal action if authorities are involved.
- Your booking automatically includes a damage protection policy. Should any minor accidental damages occur during your stay, we will cover you up to $1,000. We understand accidents happen, so we've got your back! However, if we determine damage was willful or negligent, we will charge an additional cost based on the damage itself.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. A few things are worth mentioning. The unit 112 is directly across for the trash shoot and the elevator. Lots of noise since the front door is very cheap and doesn’t insulate from hallway noise. No instructions on anything ie internet password, safe, stove, water bottle, laundry room, BBQ area etc. The Syrena staff was awesome and always willing to help.
