About this cottage rental
Relax at this shorefront house with incredible expansive views of Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains. Have your morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail on the deck, feet from the water or from the large screened in porch. Enjoy the lake while staying in a comfortable, updated home with AC, broadband internet, and smart TVs. Swim off the dock to a swim platform or take the kayaks or rowboat out on the lake. Go fishing off the 48' dock or bring your boat and tie it to the boat mooring.
The house has 3 bedrooms, two rooms with king size beds and a bunk room and 2 bathrooms. All rooms have AC , free Wireless Internet ,300+ mbps, and the main living space has split units for AC and heat. Dining table seats 6 people and comfortable living room with smart TV as well as a sitting area off the dining room. Kitchen is newer with regular sized appliances. Screened in porch with table for relaxing or eating outside.
Whole house
I live just a few miles away, and am available most of the time.
One tandem kayak, 2 single kayaks and row boat are for your use. Private deck overlooking the water as well as 48' dock with ladder. 8'x8' swim platform is shared with our other house on the property.
Primary guest or renter is over the age of 24.
No Parties, this is a neighborhood, family homes, and folks just taking it easy for the Summer.
One dog only, unless otherwise agreed upon. You must clean up after your pet as well.
After 10pm , please keep noise down for the neighbors. This is required.

We loved staying at Big camp. The house had everything we needed for a fun vacation! It was very cute and comfy house right on the water.

We had everything we needed. The lake view was spectacular. Although the home was older, everything inside was extremely clean and everything worked. We would definitely stay here again. In fact, my brother had stayed here the previous year and told us about it. Hosts were accommodating. There was an issue with the dock when we arrived that I failed to even notify them of because a few days prior to our arrival our father passed out and fell causing severe brain trauma so my head was very scattered during our visit. I am certain had I reported it, they would have fixed it immediately. I’m feeling like a bad guest for forgetting to mention it at checkout. I was just mentally in a very bad place with my dad in the ICU. If it weren’t for the situation with my dad, the stay would have been perfect. Obviously that circumstance had nothing to do with the host or home itself, I only mention because it did put a strain on our visit thus my review isn’t as gleaming as it would normally be. Again, not at all the hosts fault just unfortunate timing. Thank you for a lovely long weekend.
