I booked Super Deluxe category for 4800/- for 1 night for a couple. I literally got a heart ache as the room did not have AC. There was a lower category room by the name Deluxe and higher category by the name Superior. The shocking reply of staff was, “how would we differentiate between Super Deluxe and Superior if we give AC in all rooms”…Buffet dinner had 3 varieties of Indian cooked dishes at Rs. 500/- per head which was looking like a marriage catering so we didn’t eat anything. For 2 people we got 1 towel and 2 bottles of 500 ml water. Overall a new experience on a hill station. The market closes at 8:30 pm and not much varieties in food is available around 9:30 pm.

Located in the heart of Almora, close to the city's old markets such as the Kacheri and Karkhana bazaar; very close to the GB Pant Museum. Big disappointment was the absence of a breakfast buffet and the reluctance to make the Kumaoni dishes listed on their own menu, beyond raita and a simple potato dish. Better to explore more options.
