This is by far the best hostel I've ever stayed in. I stayed in a separate cottage in front of the pier. The cottage has a mosquito net, though I did not have to use it, a table fan, and a private bathroom and toilet. There is no AC, but at night the temperature and outside climate are very cool itself. It's a hut and there are many open areas for air to come inside. There are also house lizards inside and it won’t be a problem. I enjoyed the stay so much. I liked the pier very much that goes between the mangroves and to the sea. There are many places to sit and hang out around the property, and also many hammocks to relax. The staff are all very polite, nice and friendly. They are very helpful. There is also a restaurant. They arrange group tours, cabs and many activities. I went to the island tour and kayak tour and both of them were amazing. They accept both cards and cash, and you can even borrow cash and pay using card when you check out. The place is clean and beautiful. They offer laundry for an amount and also arrange bike rentals. This place is secluded and about a 30 km ride away from the city. It is so peaceful out here. There is a swing and a tree in the sea in front of the pier. I liked these spots very much and hung out alone here. It is so good. The water is not deep and you can walk or swim inside the sea. It was an amazing experience. Note the time for high and low tides, sunrise and sunset for good photos. Last but not least, there are many monkeys out here and they will steal your snacks if you are not careful. Every day about 20 to 30 monkeys pass this area. I liked watching them and their naughtiness. Also there are some cute little dogs there. They are so good and I liked them. They ask for food if you eat anything that they like. Overall, this is not a luxury resort but a wonderful, peaceful and naturally amazing place to stay. There are a lot of activities and places to visit nearby and more. Everyone should experience this stay at least one time. The community and the fellow inmates are all friendly and nice. A good experience that I will remember forever.

I have been backpacking for months and this is by far the most magical, beautiful place to stay. Brett and the team are exceptional, firstly extremely friendly and helpful. It’s a bit off the beaten track and I don’t ride motorbikes, but that didn’t matter because they organise so many activities and excursions which include pick up and drop off- I did the island tour, kayaking, paddle boarding and sunrise. The sunset from the pier is unbeatable. They also organise evening activities including taking people to the beach for a sunset bbq and live music at the local bar. It is sociable and just the most perfect place to stay- I feel lucky to have found it and will be back!

Amazing location with a pier leading through the mangroves to the sea. Really cool beach and low tide and perfect for paddle boarding at high tide. Bioluminescent algae at night and bats at sunset. Staff are all friendly and will help organise trips, scooter rental, laundry etc. and put on some events. It was more social that I expected but very relaxed. Good restaurants in walking distance but I'd definitely recommend a scooter to take full advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Bungalow was clean and quiet, fan not ac but it wasn't too hot at night. Good mosquito net over the bed. Fan could have done with an upgrade! Lots of comfy places to sit and chill, great breakfast and lunch at a reasonable price. Drinking water fountain. Lots of hammocks! Wonderful stay.

This location was rural- right in the mangroves- not much close- one pub and kayaking- but fantastic pier to watch sunset, no beach there (one 6 min away) but easy to splash in the water and 5 foot bats to watch at sunset. TONS of monkeys all over. The staff have been amazing and helpful- english was easy and they have a group whats ap for activities! - great choice for people wanting to make friends in a beautiful chill location!
