This was a comfortable, well equipped house for our group of 7. It was very clean and the beds were comfy, there was no TV upstairs so when the lads were watching the footy us girls had to vacate. There was the decking upstairs which was nice to sit out on and watch the sunset but got very chilly as the sun went down. It was nice to be able to walk outside the front door and across the road to the beach walkway and go for some lovely walks. A couple of good coffee options nearby too (Dukes Cafe & Deep Blue Cafe). It was a 15 min drive to the McLaren Vale region and we took full advantage of this.

The BBQ was small and we went to use it twice but 1) there is no outside light so it was dark at 6.30pm when we were cooking and 2) the knob on the gas bottle was closed so tightly that we couldn't turn the gas on! We did discover the next day a spare gas bottle which would have solved that problem.

Circular staircase - very awkward to carry suitcases up and down stairs - one guest fell trying to manoeuvre suitcase down circular staircase

how clean and beautifully presented it was inside and out!

that it had so many facilities for our family ie cubby house and the boat in the yard for our young children, all rooms were catered for perfectly and the kitchen was fitted out with everything we needed.
