    I was there in January 2026. They had no guests there except me and so no diving, no beer, barely any bottled water (and offered me rain water instead) and were waiting on a boat later that day to see what food it brought. Don’t stay here or the other backpacker’s place next door - it contained one lonely Spaniard who had been there two days as its only guest too! Stay at the Mana Resort, which is pricey and has dominated the island! (No you can’t use its facilities from outside accommodation and pay as you go)

    Definitely don't recommend. The Hostel looks abandoned, no bar, no facilities, no activities to book at the Hostel, no electricity or wi-fi from 11am to 5pm, staff looks tired and impatient, not very helpful, only one option for meals, included breakfast was only few fruits and bread, we paid extra for eggs. We got the beach bure and the room was ok but dirty, the shower was really bad. Luckily there was another Hostel in the island (mana lagoon) with very basic accommodation but super friendly locals who helped us with activities (diving and boat trip), they also have bar, served nice meals and made our staying in Mana very enjoyable.

    Few travellers, feels abandoned, no dive resort or snorkeling. Bungalow rooms were ok and on edge of village so ok if in group. Not for solo travellers. "Restaurant" only sometimes food/drink available. Guards sit outside Mana reset so not able to access their restaurant. Only allowed to walk to other side of island at low tide. This could be such a gem but no money going back into upkeep.
