Could be really good but needs care and attention

Location, good size for 5 adults, 2 toilets, comfortable beds, good amenities.

On arriving the accommodation was 8 degrees, 6 hours later with heating at full blast it was 16 degrees, warm by the morning but a very cold evening. Whilst superficially it is clean, underneath it is dirty, oven trays, under sofa cushions, mouldy along shower grouting etc. WiFi is spotty meaning the TV which only has streaming services is constantly lagging.

A great spot

Really great location, handy for the metro but far enough out of the city that it felt more peaceful. Lovely local shop for the small bits you might need and Aldi just down the road. We stayed for the Great North Run and immediately went to book again for next year but sadly no availability.

Lovely stay, modern, great facilities.

Beds were very comfortable Rooms and furniture very modern and in good condition Loved the kitchen Loved lounge at rear by back door Loved toilet upstairs and downstairs Facilities very good, weren’t missing any facilities, cater very well. Lovely welcome cookies and coffees/teas etc thank you. Loved how you even have an Xmas tree for some guests

Some cushion covers had yellow staining Blue bin had no lid, overflowing with rubbish over front garden Some blinds damaged in some rooms Gardens overgrown Tv - slow/wouldn’t turn on at times Some oven trays were very dirty. Needed a tray with no holes. Lacking toilet paper, but no big issue as went to get some but if multiple guests staying could of needed to go out same day/on arrival which may be inconvenience to other guests Coffee table in lounge isn’t very secure, may just need tightening Please don’t take this as criticism, just constructive feedback, we enjoyed our stay, just didn’t want to avoid not noting areas above as would likely impact others/cause others to complain :)

Excellent. Just what we wanted and the owners were brilliant.

Agents/owners were excellent and helpful with super fast responses. Location was perfect for us, 5 minutes walk to a Metro station, 2 minutes drive to the A1, 8 minutes walk {or 2 minutes drive} to a good size Asda. Large living room with seating for 6. Location was totally quiet at night. Parking was easy.

This is just personal taste. The bedrooms were very bright early in the summer morning and the beds were very firm. But others may well be ok with that.

Great Location but a lack of cleanliness!

Location was brilliant and really close to metro links. Aldi supermarket in walking distance. Communication from host was great. Beds were comfortable. For a small fee host honoured a later check out.

The lack of cleanliness and up keep of the property. Oven and oven tray were filthy - everything needed to be washed prior to use. Black mould in the upstairs bathroom. Stains to mattress covers and pillows when bedding was removed. TV had no signal. Lack of glasses and crockery. Garden very overgrown. Little kerb appeal - bins to the front of the property overflowing on arrival.

Comfier beds and better WiFi would have enhanced our stay.

House was cosy in the winter with efficient central heating. Kitchen well equipped. Close to transport links. Supermarket/shops/takeaways a short walk away.

WiFi was unreliable. Freeview was unavailable. We were staying here when work was being done in our home which made WiFi crucial (as we weren't here on holiday we spent more more time in the house than if it was a leisure trip).

Lovely house inside, very nicely furnished and decorated. Spacious, good size rooms. Lovely big park opposite the road, perfect for dogs. Great location to explore from

Area when you first arrive but it was actually a friendly area, lovely park over the road and convenient location, just the look of the surrounding houses and flats isn't great.

loads of space, nice decor, well equipped . lovely welcome tea tray

wasn’t a “didn’t like” as such. but arrived in the dark and wasn’t sure about the area. turned out fine .
