Maison Solange-Red Barn Farmhouse Style- Moonridge

We were looking for a nice quiet place to go ski for 2 days but also hike, and breathe. The Chalet is super quiet, in a quiet street. Super close from everything, since it was a non busy week day we could drive to Bear Mountain lift and Show Summit in just 5 min. Also parking there was free in the week days, we didn't know and that was great. We also went walking around the lake that was stunning. The house is well decorated, super clean, lots of amenities. I love the little balcony , and also the back with the Spa. Room is super comfy, the heat works super well. It's pet friendly and thats awesome. Lots of nice touches inside! the kitchen has anything you want! Washer/ Dryer is a Plus plus. The host was super responsive, apparently internet was not responding before we arrive and she sent someone, she was responding my message super quick. I love the fireside as well !! I would want to come back to enjoy the chalet and the quiet moments there.

There is nothing really I didn't like, I would say for my personal taste, there was almost too much modernity in the Chalet that sometimes I was not able to figure out simple things like turning the lights on ;) But besides that nothing I didn't like.

Beautiful cozy cabin with a great location! This is our 2nd time staying here, and will probably make it our family’s yearly winter tradition! We brought firewood for cozy fires, and enjoy coffee on the deck while watching the birds and skiers on the slopes. The hot tub in the snow is a great place to watch the sunset. We loved all of the amenities, everything you need to cook meals, coffee, and tv/books/games. We especially loved the snow man kit! Bed was super cozy and comfortable. Also, while in a neighborhood, the cabin still feels private. There are a ton of food places, shops, and grocery stores within a few minutes, and it’s super close to the zoo! Zeya was a great host! Very accommodating and communicative. I would definitely recommend staying at the Maison Solange!

Communication with the owner was excellent, very responsive and easy to talk to. The location was easy to find, tucked away enough so it was peaceful/not too loud, but also nearby village center. The home itself was cozy, comfy and clean, had an enjoyable stay.

The little red barn / cabin is a truly unique and beautiful home from home nestled in the trees. Its tranquil location means instant relaxation! Home comforts, beautiful decor and outside decking/lounge / hot tub area! coupled with some chance spotting of local wildlife made for a wonder few days with family!
