We had a wonderful stay in the cabin! It was the perfect size for our family and pup. The proximity to Big Bear village was perfect as well. The property was clean and as pictured. Loved the option to gate in the porch so we didn’t have to worry about our kids or dog. We hope to come back and visit soon!

Full disclosure, I used the VRBO filter to find properties with air conditioning. This property had AC, but insufficient air conditioning at best. Our stay was for two nights. We arrived around 4pm our first day. The interior temperature of the house was 85 degrees. The house instructions refer to setting the thermostat to 60 degrees, lending one to believe the house had central HVAC. Heating? Maybe. Never needed it. AC, no just an underpowered wall unit in the upstairs bedroom. That unit struggled to bring the temperature in that one bedroom down enough to sleep at night. We were instructed to open up the house to cool it. Maybe while we were there and awake. I am not leaving doors and windows open while we are out or asleep. The carpets and area rugs also were pet stained. We wore our shoes inside at all times. It was listed as pet friendly, so we weren’t entirely surprised. Otherwise the property was clean. The cover to the hot tub was broken, so the process for removing the cover for use was a two person job.
