About this cottage rental
Sleeps 19 comfortably.
Come enjoy the beauty of the Ouachita mountains! Float the Ouachita river, go digging for crystals, 4-wheel the multiple trails, check out the waterfalls and finish up with some great BBQ at the General Store all from your own private cabin with room for the whole family! After a great day adventuring kick back and watch a movie, play games provided in the reading room, or soak in the spacious 6 person hot tub.
The Ouachita river is only a couple miles down the road. Boat rentals and horseback riding are just across the river. General store has the best BBQ sandwiches and soft serve icecream! The Yellow Store makes great breakfast just 3 miles away! 4-wheel trails abound!
There is parking in front of the house as well as behind.
We have 4 kayaks for rent $40 a day per kayak. You may use the kayaks on the large pond or take to the river.
During your stay
First and foremost enjoy the beauty of Edendell and the Ouachita Mountains! Please follow hot tub rules.
Please follow ATV rules.
Please respect the spirit of our home by refraining from bringing or using drugs or pornography during your visit.
No smoking in doors.
Before check out
1. Wash and put away all dishes
2. Pick up trash and put in trash bag and place in trash receptacle out front.
3.Sweep floors
4.Please do not strip beds
5. Place all used towels, wash clothes, dish towels and dish clothes in the bathtub.
6. Please set thermostat to 60 in winter and 80 in summer upon final departure.
Failure to complete the house rules may result in loss of deposit.

Great place to relax. Host was very nice and communication was great. Great location if you want to hike the Ouachita Forest, visit the Wegner Crystal Mine or just get away from the cities. You’re also only about 1 hour away from Hot Springs where there is the Garvan Woodland Gardens, mini golf/family activities and the Coleman Crystal Mine.

The property had everything we needed, including a hot tub. Family commented that this was the first place that we had stayed that there was no wait for the bathroom which is important when there are kids. We enjoyed the view and the trails around the rental. It was pet friendly and my dog enjoyed our hikes around the property as well. Host communicated and answered any inquiries promptly. Arkansas is a beautiful place to visit. My sister who was present calls it her "happy place."

I had a great stay! The room was very clean, the host was responsive and helpful, and there were plenty of shops nearby which made everything convenient. Overall, an excellent experience.

Lots of room. Plenty of games and books. Fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of towels. There is a shop of some kind right at the back door. While sitting on back porch folks were coming through to use the bathroom located right at the edge of our porch.
