House in Uzes

About this house rental
The kitchen is a Farrow and Ball painted kitchen with black granite tops with all the modern appliances to make your holiday as relaxing as possible. The kitchen also has french doors which leads onto the covered terrace with seating for up to 8 people.
The main bedroom is downstairs with a separate loo and bathroom which has a free standing bath and a separate shower, which is ideal if there are just two of you using the house. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms, the double bedroom having its own separate ensuite (low eaves height) and a separate balcony which is lovely if you just feel like a few minutes peace and quiet. The third bedroom has two single beds which can be joined together to make a double bed. This bedroom has views towards Uzes and double doors leading onto a lovely terrace with table, chairs and fantastic view but I am bias.
The house is south facing and therefore gets the benefit of the sun all day. However the covered terrace does mean that you can sit outside but be in the shade.
The pool is 9 x 4.5 there is no deep end and this pool is not suitable for diving. It is enclosed by a wall and security fencing. We ask that all children that come to the house can swim. We also provide a bbq and table tennis table as well.
In 2020 we put in a new wood burning stove. The house is now suitable for all year round use as we do have central heating as well.
Uzes has been described as the Hidden Gem of the South of France. Uzes is located 20 miles west of Avignon and is a short distance from the Pont du Gard, great for anyone that likes canoeing. Montpellier has a choice of beeches (packed in the summer) and the medieval town of Aigues Morte nearby is worth a visit. If you are interested in wine then a visit to Chateauneuf du pape is well worthwhile. Uzes itself has a food market every Wednesday and a large market selling most things on a Saturday. Uzes itself always seems to have a lot going on and lots of places to eat and drink. We have never been disappointed in any restaurant or cafe we have been to. The nearby villages of St Quentin La Poterie. Collias and Castillion du Gard are also worth a visit and you may have seen Castillion du Gard on "First Dates". Other areas worth exploring are Avignon, Orange and Nimes (the food hall in Nimes is fantastic, parking a bit of a nightmare, you can go by bus). Infact there is so much you can do you might have to come again. I do leave information on things to do in the area but the tourist information in Uzes is also very helpful.
There are lots more I could say but why not take a look at all the pictures and if you are interested in booking please do not hesitate to contact me for the more accurate pricing and availability. My flat fee is £1,750 per week. My changeover date is a Friday.
