Location and amenities

Would have loved a place to sit outside - felt a bit close to the neighbours.

Great location, had all the necessities you would need including a washing machine and all kitchen utensils. Shower was also a good size with great water pressure.

Bed was a little uncomfortable to sleep on but was ok for a couple nights. Aircon wasn't working and as our stay was in the middle of summer it got very hot especially at night but I understand this was being fixed and was awaiting parts so we had to make do with the fan which helped alot. Our overall rating would have been much higher however top neighbours were abit loud so them walking around made a lot of noise for us at the bottom especially in the middle of the night and early mornings. Good people but would have been great if the flooring was sound proof. This is not the owners fault or anything they can prevent, but I do think if you are looking for a place which gives you peace and quiet then the top neighbours will be something people will need to consider.

Location is exceptional, facilities great but....

The people upstairs are heavy footed and really detract from the experience. 90% of reviews mention this issue but i made the mistake of ignoring them. It is more than unpleasant , especially when they have visitors with kids that bounce a ball on your ceiling until you have to shout up to stop it. The owner is as heplful and pleasant as you could wish but i hope he takes his tenants in there and has some people move about upstairs so they realise what effects they are having on the paying guests below.
