We had a wonderful stay at Enter St. Elisabeth hotel. Every detail of the suite was amazingly thought out, the kitchen was fully equipped (with stove, dishwasher, fridge, full set of appliances…) and the heated floor in the bathroom was so comfortable! We also loved all the matching soaps from Rituals.
We could regulate the room temperature based on our needs and this was super useful, especially when coming from the outside cold.
We could also get some rest in the hotel spa, which was very relaxing, and we used the (perfectly equipped) gym daily.
The breakfast always left us satisfied: it featured foods from sweet pastries to cheeses, cereals, eggs and more. And the view from the restaurant was breathtaking.
We had the luck of seeing amazing northern lights every night from the balcony of the hotel, as it is quite dark, and for this reason we didn’t need to book any aurora hunt tour!

We took a two bedroom apartment, which was very convenient, we were able to make our own cooking and had flexibility.
The fact that it was quite run down. You can see that it is being refurbished, but for the price charged, not too happy tbh.

Clean apartments but some poor design choices - like no bedside tables or lamps etc
The staff didn’t speak Norwegian
Taxis wouldn’t drive in because snow not cleared from driveway
