The villa gives a real sense of luxury! Wonderful open spaces in and out to really enjoy time there. The pool was very comfortable unheated (August) and everyone appreciated the table tennis. Lots of terraces to explore and fantastic views. Great garage to secure the cars.
Sleeping was a bit more difficult in the heat without adequate fans/air con. Not that much to do/access in the area so a car essential.

Das Haus hat eine traumhaft Lage mit wunderschönem Blick auf die Berge und das Meer. Außerdem lässt sich die Insel von Calheta aus sehr gut erkunden. Wir hatten mit unseren Kindern eine tolle Zeit und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Der Pool und das schöne Haus laden zum Verweilen ein, wenn man mal nicht unterwegs sein möchte. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen!
Der eine oder andere Gebrauchsgegenstand könnte mal ausgetauscht werden. Beispielsweise ist der Wäschestände nur noch eingeschränkt nutzbar.

Garry, der Hausverwalter, war sehr freundlich. Es gab eine persönliche Hausführung und Fragen konnten sofort geklärt werden. Vom Haus aus hat man Blick auf den Atlantik und den ganzen tag Sonne im Grundstück.
Idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die Insel, besonders den südlichen und westlichen Teil zu ergründen bzw. Wanderungen zu unternehmen. Beheizter Pool - Madeiraurlaub wunderbar.
Der Pool hat eine Abdeckplane, die nicht installiert war. Das führte dazu, dass man öfter mal ein Insekt oder eine Madeira-Mauerechse retten musste.
Sie würde auch besser die Temperatur des Wassers halten.

Gary was a friendly and helpful host. Great views from the villa. Villa is spacious with good outdoor space. We had a good time on Madeira
The heated pool took 4 days to reach a pleasant temperature. A lot of the equipment in the villa is tired, there is no pool cover to keep the heat in, the barbeque and table football table are damaged and should be replaced. The cutlery, crockery glasses and saucepans etc are all random from different sets. The villa is good, although the overall quality does not justify the cost
