Le gîte est bien placé. Nous avons beaucoup aimé Monthermé. De belles randonnées à faire aux alentours. Gîte bien équipé. La présence de linge de lit et de serviettes de bain sont un plus très appréciables.
Qualité de la literie très moyenne dans une chambre. Mais le message a été partagé aux propriétaires qui en ont pris note.

Donker huis, mist sfeer...
Redelijk ruim appartement, dichtbij centrum, mooie wandelroute in de buurt. 'La roche à sept heures' is een mooie wandelroute met diverse uitzichtpunten op de Maas. Als je door het badkamerraam kruipt, heb je een balkon. Maar, je zit volledig ingesloten door muren en je hebt geen uitzicht. Er is een wasmachine. De douche is goed. Het huis is gerenoveerd. Er is een poging gedaan om het huis gezellig aan te kleden, maar het mist sfeer.
Het is een heel donker huis. In de living slechts 1 raam dat uitgeeft op een donkere straat. In de keuken zit 1 velux in het plafond. Te hoog om door te kijken. Het geeft een opgesloten onnatuurlijk gevoel. Het appartement is een smal rijtjeshuis met zeer weinig licht. We waren met drie en kregen twee handdoeken voor vier dagen. Het huisje is moeilijk warm te krijgen. Er zijn enkele elektrische vuurtjes, maar die geven onvoldoende warmte. De trap is gevaarlijk voor kleine kinderen. De voordeur zit meteen in de woonkamer. Het dorp Monthermé heeft weinig te bieden. Er is een bakker, enkele bars...maar allemaal vlakbij een drukke weg. Het centrum mist een gezellig pleintje met gezellige restaurants. De abdij is niet altijd toegankelijk voor publiek. Dat is jammer.
