Great location in the old town, short walk (albeit a steep walk) to the Castle and other attractions. Very easy check in and they had no problem allowing us to drop our bags early. Apartment is compact but very well equipped - even had a basket of phone chargers, umbrellas, sunscreen and sunglasses to borrow!
The neighbourhood seemed a little sketchy - was a homeless woman sleeping just outside the complex in a tent. Apartment is very small, so you wouldn't want to spend too much time indoors.

My wife said the host must be a woman (before she knew that); it has absolutely everything you would need for a comfortable stay. the location is very good; it is at the top of the hill but there is an escalator from M. Moniz square. A rare treat in Lisbon. There are several miniature convenience stores and a small restaurant nearby. Also there is on M. Moriz square is a nice supermarket. There is a parking spot inside the yard, also a rarity in Lisbon. (Attached photo is from the apartment window, on the angle though)
Bathroom shower is small; big people would have hard time using it.

Located in Alfama, this apartment has a great location! Metro, supermarket, lots of sights and restaurants all within reach. It was super clean when we arrived. We liked the stainless steel kitchen a lot. The owner was also very responsive when we had questions. For us, the mattress was a little bit too soft but others may find it ok.
