Excellent city centre location just down from the Hawa Mahal. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable.

Friendly and helpful staff, and central location.
King room was odd shape - difficult to walk around the bed.

We had a beautiful room with lots of space in this wonderful historical building. The staff were always helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious!
We were happy with everything!

The restaurant.

Location was fantastic. Cleanliness and presentation amazing. Staff were very good.
Breakfast was quite simple but I think they are working on expanding it.

Very good location, lovely rooms, plentiful hot water, very quiet at night, comfortable bed.
Attention to detail lacking at times, room not always made up, breakfast food lukewarm if not eaten early, the regional manager needs to pay a visit to help maintain standards
7.0 / 10.0
If you decide to go to breakfast 1 hour or less before they close-will be no breakfast. Coffee is horrible, service at the breakfast is horrible. You need to fight for everything, when the breakfast is not free in this hotel.
Also there is a constant remodeling upgrade is going on while you live there

Location is brilliant. I liked the building itself, nice facade and the interior has a really good traditional vibe. Staff is helpful.
For a one-night stay, it was exactly what I needed. However, the room has no windows—only three large wooden doors opening onto the aisle—so there is no natural light. The doors also don’t block out construction noise from outside. For a longer stay, I would likely choose a different option.

Amazing vibe in this beautiful building with traditional decor. The location is the best possible in Jaipur just next to the top sites. Friendly staff.

We booked the Palace Suite for 2 nights (we were 3 of us) which costed us Rs. 18,626 including breakfast. The room was divided into 3 sections - the main bedroom, additional bedroom where our daughter slept and the bathroom. The main bedroom was big but was missing enough furniture. We liked our daughter's bedroom better which was tucked into a corner and was nice and cozy.
The hotel is based in an old haveli and many parts of it are preserved as one. The room had a unique lock which was like an old metallic lock. In fact, the doors where from the original haveli with 'kundi' locks. The interior decor was quite nice in the room.
They have a fancy app system to register your requirements or room service. This was quite interesting. You can just chat with them and they will chat back with you. Some part of the chat is automated and then you can also chat with the duty manager in real time. Quite neat!
The WiFi was good. Hot water in the bathroom was adequate.
The breakfast at the restaurant was full vegetarian - no eggs also. This was quite unique for India. I have hardly come across a restaurant like this. In fact, we had some chicken momos which we took with us for breakfast and requested them to heat for us. But, they refused saying they don't accept non-vegetarian stuff. Well, it is their choice. But, if I knew in advance, I would have not booked this hotel only for the reason that they don't even give eggs for breakfast.
The toilet was not neat. It had a dirty curtain to separate the bath area. The lighting in the bathroom could have been brighter. In fact, the lighting in the whole room could have been better.
Check in was not very efficient. They got in touch one day in advance for our ID cards to register us in advance. But, in reality when we reached the hotel in the night around 11.30 pm, we again had to fish out our IDs which they photo stated (each of them). The overall check in took around good 10-15 minutes. So, I wonder what this gimmick about registering us in advance?
The service app functions in a sketchy manner. Sometimes the live agent will actually instruct you to call a particular number making you wonder whether any requirement should be through the app or we need to call up.
The location which is in Pink City is not very good. The approach to the hotel was very bad (almost in some kind of back alley). The whole area is dirty and the traffic situation during the day is horrendous. So, I would rate this hotel bad for its location.
Finally, no adequate parking for car. We had to park on the road itself which kind of feels unsafe for the car. Also, the area outside the hotel is quite dirty and filthy.

Phenomenal location (walkable to all the best stuff, but on a quiet alley just off the main road), most comfortable bed in our month in India, and the staff was wonderful. Shower was big and nice, and the rooms and building are just beautiful. Would/will absolutely stay here next time I'm in Jaipur.
The owner of the boutique was a little too pushy to visit his store across the street and the restaurant next door, which (I believe) is owned by the same owner as the hotel. I liked him and his stuff, but the constant suggestions to visit the other places was exhausting. This isn't a problem with the hotel itself, but this detracts from the experience when I get stopped by him every time I go in or out of the hotel.

A beautifully designed, architecturally charming hotel in the heart of the old town. The staff were polite, wonderful people – honest and very helpful. The price was excellent for the location, although later we understood why it was so low…
Unfortunately, the age of the hotel caused many problems. The room doors were locked from the inside with a simple chain, which made us feel unsafe. From the outside, the doors were secured with an old padlock. There was no soundproofing at all. We stayed for a total of 8 nights (we had booked 3 rooms), and none of us managed to sleep because of the noise.
The room door did not close properly (it had gaps), so every outside sound could be heard. There was no window or natural light. As a result, we tried to stay outside the hotel as much as possible because we couldn’t stand the claustrophobic feeling of the room.
We will definitely never choose to stay there again. It was the worst hotel choice I have ever made. We felt very relieved when our trip ended and we finally left the hotel, despite the fact that the staff were excellent.

The staff were exceptional and the location was perfect. It's an old haveli that has been carefully restored into a hotel and located within minutes of Hawa Mahal and City Palace. It's located on a quiet lane that hides the bustle of the main thoroughfare but allows access to anything interesting within minutes. The staff were perfect and go above and beyond to help. Special thanks to Rinku, Abishek and Narayan who made sure our stay was comfortable and easy.
We were 4 in our group and stayed twice during our travels through Rajasthan - a few days in the beginning our trip and a few days at the end of the trip and the stay could not have been better. In fact, we looked forward to getting back to Chelon Haveli to relax for a few days at the end of the trip!!
The haveli has a restaurant within the premises that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast is a mix of self serve options and made to order dishes. The two staff - Hemraj and Hemraj were wonderful and were more than happy to customise any dish to our preference and the quality of the food was superb. We had some of our best meals there. The restaurant is vegetarian, as are most places in Jaipur Old City, but the restaurant is going through renovation to include a bar etc.
Overall, a wonderful place to stay.
The stay was excellent and staff superb, but if there was anything to be said for further improvement, it's this -
The haveli is old and has lots of nooks and crannies and common spaces, niches where books and curios are, common seating areas to enjoy and evening with your group. The cleaning of these common areas could be better. Unlike the rooms that were super clean, the common areas were more musty, dusty and not regularly tended to. A keener eye to housekeeping of the common areas, the common bathrooms on the floors and cleaning under the beds would be a point for improvement.
Also, recommended for the staff to familiarise themselves with the local areas to help answer questions from guests. While they were very helpful, their knowledge of the local areas was limited.

Absolutely nothing.
The hotel… if you can even call it that, looks more like a construction site. In the room we found dirt, spiders, and dirty sheets. The rooms are extremely noisy since it’s located right in the middle of a chaotic area, but that’s not even the worst part: Uber doesn’t reach this zone, so you have to walk out into the noise and chaos to get one. We decided to leave and lose three nights at this hotel, where they promised to refund us for the inconvenience… we’re still waiting for that money, as the staff doesn’t care and won’t reply to your messages. I’ve never come across a team more unprofessional. If you’re looking for a good hotel, this is definitely NOT the place for you.

Excellent location walking distance to both the Hawa Mahal and the City Palace. There is a little cafe next door with a sweet story behind it.
A chair in the room would have been helpful

I did not have the opportunity to have breakfast at the Bloom Chelon since I had early start days, but the hotel was very accommodating to pack me a breakfast one day....very nice of them! thought the room and the hotel were very charming, and the people were so friendly and helpful! The location is IDEAL for the palace, and shopping, and I enjoyed my stay very much.
Nothing! I liked this place very much.

Great family room
Staff forgot to mention the exorbitant prices for doing laundry

The room is nice and dark so you can sleep late. Very good breakfast. Easy to walk from there in the old city.
There was water in the bathroom after we showered.

The location was really close to the City Palace (walkable in 5 mins) which was great, however turning right out of the hotel isn’t recommended as it’s a side street. Our room itself was at the very back of the hotel and was very cute. We really enjoyed the decor, setup and amenities in the room specifically.
The staff weren’t super helpful and many didn’t speak great English which made it difficult to communicate (still 10 times better than our Hindi though!). The area is in a no drop off zone for Uber which does make it difficult to get to. Staff weren’t very helpful when we left with a lot of luggage as we were hardly able to carry our bags (thanks to the amazing shopping Jaipur has to offer). The restaurant was not good and we saw a dead mouse in the middle of the floor as soon as we arrived. It was also seemingly under construction and not managed by the hotel at all which we weren’t aware of. The breakfast options were poor and we then couldn’t pay by card because their machine was broken, and the hotel wanted nothing to do with it.

The property is beautiful and has a fantastic history. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean and beautifully decorated showing the heritage of the hotel. Lovely stained glass windows and old fashioned wooden doors. It felt like staying in a hotel from a different era. There is an app that you download on your phone where you can type any questions or things you need like extra water or toiletries. These are then brought straight up to your room. Would definitely recommend.
Nothing, it was exceptional and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Beautiful historical Haveli 290 years old.. great location.. central to all. Staff were all very nice. Staff on duty all night for safety. Roof view of the town.

Excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from the City Palace and the lively shopping and food streets (though the road outside can be quite busy). The room was spacious and charming with a simple, minimal design, and the living area had a lovely, classic vibe. Service was great; no complaints at all! I also appreciated their customer service QR code system — you can request extra towels or report any issues directly through it. I found this approach very convenient and a sign that their IT system is of a high standard.
The only odd thing was that the souvenir shop was never open.

Hard to get Uber pick up

Special rooms with arcade passage, well structured inquiry- service-offer, diligent staff, very close to the city palace
loud from time to time due to construction work at the hotel and rather loud at the beginning of the night due to the nearby street and missing glass windows, just shutters

Lovely boutique hotel- tucked away in a laneway (so away from the noise and traffic), but just a short walk away to main attractions (like Hawa Mahal). The architecture is beautiful and still has modern amenities. There's an online chat to connect with staff for whatever you need and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful (they recommended a massage place and organised taxis when needed). Continental breakfast with made to order Indian options.
The only nitpick would be that it would've been nice to have some Western breakfast options (like eggs)- however there is the Blue Door cafe right next door which does so no problem!

Loved the style and decoration of this hotel, the standard room was perfect for one person. It’s in the pink city central location walking distance to cafes and the bazaar. I really enjoyed lounging in the hotel cafeteria drinking masala chai and cookies!

Beautfully repurposed haveli. Excellent sized rooms , great bathrooms and comfortable bed. The breakfast is really decent and set your up well for the day. Great staff and location close to a thriving market area and the famous Hawa Mahal.
The immediate are Outside the hotel is a little confronting but totally safe and fine .

The entrance (though small) hides a large hotel bang in the middle of Jaipur. You cannot, cannot ask for a better place than this.
Along with super helpful staff and their attention to detail (right from pre-arrival to checkout) they ensure that everything is perfect for your stay.
Their travel desk is super busy so better to sort your travel plans pre-arrival.
Just a note for peak season/long holidays: Some roads get blocked by the traffic department for better management. Do not worry, you will maximum need to walk a maximum of 1 km
their dinner and lunch menu could have been a little bit more authentic to rajasthan than general.
Not to complain, the food was excellent but the menu was limiting in my opinion.
Breakfast is amazing. If you are looking for just breakfast you wont regret it.

It was my best stay so far in India. Had the feeling of really being at a hotel and not a hostel or guesthouse! Good service and nice staff. Had my clothes washed there. Tasty and extensive breakfast. Dinner also tasted good. I definitely recommend it. Great.
Everything all right!

Stay at that hotel just been a pleasure. Very good designed like you can feel the orient of India. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms are very clean. Definitely recommend :)

The building is really beautiful, clean and extremely well kept, with nice touches everywhere. The room was incredibly spacious, with many niches, internal pillars, sofas etc.
Breakfast was good and abundant with also continental food.
Because it is part of a big hotel chain, the place lacked any real atmosphere and felt really cold and impersonal, with the young staff not really helpful or willing to help. That was a major let down for us. One small accident happened when one morning we were woken up at 7.30 by the bell boy to deliver the laundry, which I said I would collect after breakfast. When, half naked and half asleep I said ok and said I would pay at breakfast, he insisted to be paid there and then. Not happy at all about that.
The location is ok but not great, very close to the bazaars but in a tiny and dirty alley with cows and dogs roaming around.

Lovely, exceptionally clean place. Kind and helpful staff. Great and convenient location. We loved every second of our stay and would definitely come back as well as recommend!!
I’d suggest adding a few European style choices for breakfast. We love Indian food but it’s a bit too heavy to have it for breakfast.

The perfect example of a 3 star boutique hotel. Characterful and comfortable.
A little noisy from the street and the shower was pretty poor by UK standards, but still, nothing to worry about. Don't let that put you off staying!

Beautiful hotel, was clean and comfortable and offered everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and were always happy to help with anything needed. Would definitely stay here again.
Couldn’t order Uber to pick up directly outside hotel- presume this is to do with being inside palace walls, meant we had to walk past the sleeping street dogs at 5am to catch our flight which wasn’t pleasant.

Toilet got block but was resolved asap, water run out so the staff send me a bucket of cold water to have a wash in.
