Annie was very responsive from the get go. We had to change the dates due to flight departures and she was very helpful and attentive to our situation. The house was spacious for our family of 4 being me, my husband, our 3 year old and 11 month old baby. We were in town for my sisters wedding for the weekend so it was a short weekend trip. The location is great. Close to downtown shopping and right across the street from the library which our children love. They have a cool set up for toddlers and little ones. The beds were super comfy. Nice thick comforters and comfortable pillows. Spacious living room to entertain and hang out in. We highly recommend this property! I wish we could have spent a full week here! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. We hope to rent from you in the future!

It was a beautiful home in the center of an awesome winery, Mohican trails, some of the best restaurants in the area (The Black Fork), a cute down town area (within walking distance) that is full of surprises, and just an overall fall paradise! There also happened to be a first annual Big Foot Festival downtown when we stayed.

Property had everything we needed for our grandmas and grandkids adventure. The photos of the Malabar Chalet totally reflect the beauty of this house. This house is walkable to cafes, ice cream, The Cleo Redd Fisher museum is right next door. We found a really neat playground within 1/2 mile walk, Riverside Park. And, when we tubed on the Mohican River the next day, we passed the playground! It was a terrific back to school holiday.

Amazing property. Nice front porch for relaxing. Convenient to the river. Walking distance to shops, an ice cream/coffee place, a restaurant, and a bar. There’s a farmer’s market right across the street on Saturday mornings. Very clean and comfortable. Host was communicative. Perfect for our girls weekend. Will be back!

It was exactly what we needed/wanted! It was great; the bathroom sink needs to be fastened because it’s loose.

Very beautiful place to stay. There was a farmers market on Saturday morning. Very short walking distance. Mohican Adventures was only 5 min away and we went to the ugly bunny winery which was also 4-5 min. The communication between the host and myself was great and any questions I had she gladly answered. Thank you so much for letting us stay there :)) Highly recommend booking here!

The property is within walking distance to downtown, which has many shops, food eateries, & a coffee shop. There was a farmers market on Saturday too! The home itself was very clean, & well maintained. The kitchen has the normal amenities you would need for a weekend, and the beds were very comfortable.

My family & I had an amazing stay at the Malabar Chalet during the Loudonville Fair. We all enjoyed coffee on the porch watching the fair open and the easy access to town. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean.

We came down for a weekend away from me being a mom and to celebrate my mother's birthday. The house was great. I love the sounds associated with an old house. Even though it was very old it was a perfect stay.

This old home is absolutely beautiful. You only get access to the first floor but everything was in great shape and the location was perfect. I would’ve liked to had access to a coffee pot and a grill but everything else you need was there.

We really enjoyed our stay, the home was spacious and perfect for our family. We had booked some activities at Mohican Adventures and it was super close! We spent a lot of time on the front porch and walking to the little shops downtown. Definitely check out Stela’s ice cream, so yummy. The check in process was so easy and the owner sent all the details we needed. Would definitely book again; thank you for sharing this lovely home!

Stayed here with three friends for a trail run at Mohican. Price was great. Check-in process and communication was also good. You can't beat the location as we're less than 2 miles from Mohican Adventures and a walking block from downtown Loudonville's shops and restaurants. It was a beautiful old home that constantly reminded you "they don't make 'em like they used to." Did not realize the rental was for the downstairs unit only but it had everything we needed and never saw/heard anything from the upstairs units. Only drawback was the electric stove seemed erratic. Burners would turn off while cooking and it would set off the smoke detector when simply boiling water and sauteing some vegetables. An outdoor grill would have been nice too. Overall, very pleasant stay and would rent this property again.

The house was a century home that had a lot of cool features that you don't see in a modern home, from large real wood wood work to art work in the ceiling, the home had a lot of charm and was a comfortable place to spend our weekend. It was a short drive to the parks. Annie was very easy to work with and provided easy detailed instructions. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

My 82 year old father and I stayed in this lovely property for a week. The house has such dramatic character with beautiful original ceilings and woodwork throughout. I loved the pocket doors! The kitchen has everything you would need for cooking onsite. The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable as was the living room furnishings. The heart of the town is in walking distance and I would strongly urge a visit to the local museum for a pleasant free experience!
The photos are accurate and fully depict the property.
The owner of this home is very responsive and thorough and so kind. Our trip was very relaxing. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a clean, comfortable home base while in the area!

Well we had some pretty rough storms that literally shook the whole house. That was sort of scary, but definitely no ones fault. Otherwise it was a besutiful home & fit our needs for the few days perfectly! The library across the street was so cute! If you have kiddos, check that out!

Absolutely beautiful home! Two blocks from a cute downtown. Rooms were nice and large. Would have liked a couple more chairs for the dining table though. We would definitely stay again.

This unit is the first floor of a cool old house on Main st. In Loudonville, with beautiful old oak woodwork. It has two bedrooms, one large and one small, a very nice living room and a practical kitchen and bath. It served our needs well, and I would recommend it highly.

Overall the property was very clean and nice. Close to everything. Unfortunately it was very close to the main road in town and sleeping was difficult due to road noise and the furnace kicking on and off. Also the bed was not to my liking.
