Here you live in a beautiful location with a view of the beautiful Lake Älgsjön just 20 km outside Kisa. The cottage has a new kitchen that is open plan with the family room. From both the kitchen and the dining area you have a nice view of the lake and if you are a bit frozen, you can light a fire in the fireplace. The bathroom is newly renovated and has a washing machine. In one bedroom there is a double bed with an exit to the back and in the other there are two single beds. On the covered terrace you can sit and relax with a cup of coffee looking out over the calm lake. Next to the house you will find the guest cabin which has 2 single beds. The guest cabin has no key, it is always open. Just below the house you will find the lake (small gravel road lies between) where you can swim or take a trip with the rowing boat for free fishing in the lake (no nets or boat motors may be used). If you feel like grilling in the evening, there is access to a grill with an outdoor group. In the surroundings there are several nice lakes. There is something to do for everyone when you plan your excursion destinations both in the nearby area or if you go into the city of Linköping 55 km away. There you can visit the air force museum, Old Linköping in the city quarter Valla, good shopping in the city and good food. For the cultural, one likes to visit the cathedral and the castle at Borggården. 10 kilometers northwest of Linköping is the lock area known as Bergs slussar Göta Kanal's largest lock staircase. You come here to see boats closing the locks, eat good ice cream, rent a bike or take a cooling bath. 18 kilometers away is the Trollegater Nature Reserve, a well-visited place suitable for everyone in the family. Trollegater is one of Sweden's largest ancient rock caves. In the cave there is a system of passages that are close to a hundred meters long. The cave is located in southern Östergötland, where the number of ancient rock caves is more than anywhere else in the Nordic region. Adventure and excitement await those who want to explore Trollegater. It is 55 km to Vimmerby, where you can visit the fine town and Astrid Lindgren's world. Just before Vimmerby you will find Vimmerby adventure where there are good opportunities to experience play and exciting adventures. In total, there are 83 obstacles in the courses, which are located both in the treetops and closer to the ground. Or you can go to the Virum elk park 74 km, where you can go along on a trip out into the elk park and pet them. Welcome to a nice cottage with a nice lakeside location.
