Welcome to this fantastic house with a lake plot and its own jetty by the clear waters of Lake Åsund. Wake up in the morning and enjoy the view that extends over the lake and the large terrace, 80 m below is your private bathing area with a small beach, jetty and rock bath. The house is secluded and here the large or small family can socialize on large areas both inside and out. Right next door is the guest cottage which has its own terrace with seating and a fantastic view. The guest cottage can be rent during the winter. It costs 1000 SEK/week extra. Please contact the service office! The large house has an open floor plan with a combined kitchen and living room with access to the large terrace. There is a WC with laundry room and a bathroom with shower, a large open hall from the entrance. Three bedrooms, one room with a double bed, one room with a single bed 120 cm and the last room with two single beds. The guest house is a single large room of 30 sqm with three beds and kitchen table with chairs, there is a sink and a small refrigerator. Åsund's clear waters and many islands offer great places for swimming, including rock baths. There is an aluminum rowing boat for rent from the homeowner that gives you the opportunity to discover different places on the lake and why not try your luck at fishing. The house is located in Kindabygden located in the southern part of Östergötland. Kindabygden is known for its magnificent nature with high mountains and deep valleys. There are several nature reserves, one of which is located in close proximity to the area. The proximity to magnificent nature and the Stångåns and Kinda canal water systems offer fantastic opportunities for different kinds of activities. Valö Café & Festplats outside Björkfors about 7 kilometers away has a summer restaurant located on an island in a scenic environment adjacent to a party place with a dance floor. A walkway across the water leads to a bathing area with a jetty and jumping tower, if you continue further you will come to the café which is located in a beautiful summer idyll. Guests return a long way for the famous "shrimp sandwich" which is always served freshly made. Pedal boat and rowing boat are available for rent. There is a hiking trail on Korpberget's slopes from Valö´s parking, it is steep but there are ropes to get up with, where you can connect to the hiking trail that goes from Björkfors to Idhult. The areas around Björkfors are beautiful excursion destinations that allow you to enjoy nature whether you come by bike, moped, motorcycle, car or boat. There is something to do for everyone when you plan your excursion destinations both in the nearby area or if you go into the City of Linköping 67 km away. There you can visit the Air Force Museum, Old Linköping in the city district Valla, good shopping in the city and good food. For the cultural, you are welcome to visit the cathedral and the castle at Borggården. One mile northwest of Linköping is the lock area called Bergs slussar Göta kanals largest lock staircase. You come here to see boats that lock, eat good ice cream, rent a bike or take a cooling bath. 40 kilometers away is Trollegater Nature Reserve a well-visited place that suits everyone in the family. Trollegater is one of Sweden's largest bedrock caves. In the cave there is a system of passages that are close to a hundred meters long. The cave is located in southern Östergötland, where the number of bedrock caves is more than anywhere else in the Nordic region. Adventure and excitement await you who want to explore Trollegater.
