The hotel was relatively new and we were granted early check-in the moment we stepped into the hotel (3 hours early!) after a long train ride. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Room was spacious and clean with Toto toilet that comes with heated toilet seat and bidet. We didn't have breakfast at the premise but the spread was diverse. Hotel also offered complimentary wellness therapy but we didn't have the chance to give it a try so if the offer is still on don't miss it!

The hotel is 20-30 minutes car ride away from the main attractions of Samarkand.

My reservation was moved to the Afrosiyob sister hotel next door because this one was temporarily closed, so this review is mainly directed to the Afrosiyob hotel. The hotel was very modern and well cleaned! The staff were also friendly and accommodating. I was surprisingly able to check-in in the morning.

I didn't like that I wasn't notified about the original hotel being temporarily closed. Also the showerhead in my room wasn't working.

The views from the bedrooms were amazing, the food was good, the bedrooms were clean and modern, and the staff were friendly. The outdoor area was great to explore, and overall it was a luxurious and lovely stay at this hotel.

The location was good for the conference that I was attending (opposite, across the lake), however, the shuttle was not on time most of the time, so it would have been good to keep to timing especially as most of the residents (if not all) were there for the conference. The venue is a bit out of the way from the main city centre, but taxis were pretty cheap and convenient so that was good. Although I didn't go to the gym, I don't think it was very large, and I thought there would be a swimming pool (I could have got that wrong though), so expanding on them could draw more customers.
